THQ Nordic is the publisher of Gothic 1 Remake. The company owns the Gothic intellectual property and set up Alkimia Interactive in Barcelona specifically to develop the remake.

Role on the Project

THQ Nordic handles publishing, marketing, and physical distribution for the game. The 'Voices Across the Colony' behind-the-scenes series, the pre-order campaign, the Standard and Collector's Editions, and the retail rollout across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S are all run on the publisher side.
