11 Drax is a New Camp rogue and one of the first NPCs the player meets in the Nyras Prologue demo. He and his partner Ratford have set up a small camp outside the Exchange Zone, and they are the source of the demo's earliest quests.

55 Drax gives Nyras a scavenger-hunting quest that doubles as the combat tutorial for the demo's reworked Combat System. Completing his quest is one of the paths to earning a place at his campfire rather than being run off. The fight pacing in his quest is built around the demo's opening tier of melee training: short combos, deliberate parry windows, and committed attack animations that punish hasty inputs.

99 Drax is a Rogue rather than a Mercenary. His work for the camp is about logistics and small-scale operations rather than frontline combat. That is why he is operating outside the camp's walls in the first place: rogues do the courier and scouting work that Lares coordinates.

1313 Drax serves as the demo's combat-introduction NPC. His scavenger hunt is the natural starting quest for any first run through Nyras Prologue, and pairs with Ratford's missing-partner search to give the demo two distinct quest pacings: a fight-forward arc and a search-forward arc.

17+In the main game, Drax camps with Ratford north of the Old Camp. Cross the north bridge, turn right and look for their firepit and tent among the trees. Give Drax a Beer to make his hunting lessons available. He also trades a Shortbow for the Hunter's Knife found on the early route with Diego; giving him the knife opens his offer to escort you to the New Camp.
