Crimson Desert
Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Pearl Abyss, the studio behind Black Desert Online. Set on the war-torn continent of Pywel, players take on the role of Kliff, leader of the Greymanes mercenary company. After losing everything, Kliff and his band of outcasts must survive, rebuild, and carve out a place in a world gripped by factional warfare and supernatural threats. Combat blends weapon combos, kicks, grapples, and wrestling moves into a fluid system that shifts between on-foot duels and mounted clashes on horseback. Boss encounters pit players against towering creatures that demand sharp reflexes and positioning. Beyond battle, Pywel offers the Kuku crafting system, Greymane camp building, alchemy, cooking, and strategic card games. Mounts go far beyond horses. Players can ride bears, wolves, dragons, and even mechanical constructs, each with distinct traversal and combat capabilities. Crimson Desert launched on March 19, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Mac.
