11Skellion is this game's word for the undead in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, and it is the class the risen dead are fielded as. It belongs to the block of the published class listing that no party member will ever certify into, and it is the enemy type the present-day chapters are built around.2233Where It Sits in the Class Listing4455The listing keeps a fifth block for classes reserved to enemies. Six are named: Lesser Titanus, Sandbael, Skellion, Striped Wolf, Vouivre and Yarc. Two of the six carry something beyond a name, and Skellion is one of them. Yarc is the other, a beast class. Classes covers the certifiable ladder the player actually works through, and Certification Exams covers how a unit moves along it; neither route leads here.6677FieldDetailClass typeEnemy only; no certification path publishedEffectiveness groupUndeadAnswered bySeraphim, white magic with bonus damage against undeadProtective status carriedUnderworld BoonMovement, stats, growthsNot published88In the Story991010Balor's army in 1454 is at least partly made up of reanimated corpses, and risen dead is the name the surviving population uses for them. An Underworld Gate has opened over Dagsion, the streets have become a hunting ground, and the survivors Eshmel finds are fighting that army in the wreckage. Skellion is the class label behind all of it. Story and Plot Structure covers the 1454 chapters and Routes covers how they sit against the 1449 campaigns.11111212The four Heroes appear among the risen dead fought as tutorial bosses in the game's opening, in classes different from their playable ones, which is the first time the player meets the type.13131414Fighting Them15151616Skellion is the class filed under the Undead group in the effectiveness table, and one weapon answers it: Seraphim, a white magic spell that attacks with a ball of pure light, carries six casts and deals bonus damage to undead units. Effective hits deal twice the weapon's Might; Bonus Damage sets out the six groups and both multipliers. That single answer is why a spell most parties would treat as situational matters more in 1454 than it does during the Games.17171818The undead side also carries a protective status called the Underworld Boon, which the Aurora blessing is reported to strip. Temple Blessings covers the blessing, and Skills records the forecast readout where an Underworld Boon was seen being cancelled. Eshmel's own Blaze Art is effective against undead as well, which is a second answer available only to one unit.19192020What Has Not Been Published21212222As of September 2026, no official presentation, press release or class listing gives Skellion a movement value, a size, a weapon proficiency set, a class skill, a base stat line or a growth table. Nothing states whether Skellion covers every risen-dead enemy in the game or is one class among several in Balor's army, and nothing says whether the units fielded in it were once named characters. One report places a Skellion riding an ornius, which would put the class on a mount in at least one encounter; that rests on a single account and is recorded here as unconfirmed.23232424Related Pages25252626Classes holds the full roster including the enemy-only block. Bonus Damage covers the Undead group and what answers it, Magic covers Seraphim among the white magic line, and Balor covers the god whose army the class fills.
