Added detailed shields reference
Shields add protection at a weight cost. Choose a resistance shield for mixed magical pressure or a stronger defense shield for physical attacks, then check whether the extra weight changes the unit's attack speed.
Shield | Effect | Weight | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|
Da Mina Shield | Def+4. | 5 | Buy From Shops: Da Mina Item Shop; Mons Item Shop |
Hexlock Shield | Def+1, Res +5. | Not listed | Found in a Treasure Chest: Dione Fort |
Iron Shield | Def +3. | 4 | Buy From Shops: Dagsion Item Shopkeeper; Mons Item Shop |
Silver Shield | Def+5. | 4 | Buy From Shops: Dagsion Item Shopkeeper; Dagsion Vandahl Merchant; Mons Item Shop | Found in a Treasure Chest: Niraga Mine; Iapetus Cavern | Reward From Quests: Diversionary Tactics |
Talisman Shield | Def+1, Res+2. | 3 | Found in a Treasure Chest: Dagsion |
Wooden Shield | Def +1. | 2 | Found in a Treasure Chest: Galen Fort Ruins |
Hexlock Shield can appear in a Luxury Weapon Crate, but opening a crate does not guarantee it. Shield of Zephyrus is listed with accessories because it neutralizes Flying effectiveness rather than using this defense-shield stat line.
