At 10:48, over the segment on Advanced classes, the captions carry a speaker-labelled line: "[Seteth] You? Defeat me?" That is an official credit rather than an observer's identification, and it settles that he is in the game.66He is listed as a playable character on the game's roster, in the group of units recruitable from clans other than the four Heroes' own.99Profile1111FieldDetailRolePlayableClanLinaria Morning DewClassListed as a Commoner in the roster grouping, with a separate reading placing him on a wyvernRecruitmentReported to require Renown level 10English voiceMark WhittenJapanese voiceTakehito KoyasuCrestListed among the bearers of the Crest of Cichol12+FieldDetailRolePlayableClanLinaria Morning DewClassListed as a Commoner in the roster grouping, with a separate reading placing him on a wyvernRecruitmentSupport 3 with the route's Hero and a quest, plus Renown 6 on Cai's or Theodora's route or 10 on Leda's; not recruitable on Dietrich's route. The other names listed with it are Diego, Ninae and Loretta. Like the other clans outside the four Heroes' own, it enters the Heroic Games under its own banner and turns up in the story as both guests and opponents. See Factions for the wider structure.1616Class and Recruitment1818Preview coverage of the Direct trailer puts Seteth in the Dragoon class, which rides a wyvern. A separate hands-on account instead lists him among the units that begin as Commoners and reports that recruiting him requires reaching Renown level 10, which the writer called a steep requirement. Each of these rests on one observer reading one screen, and Nintendo has published neither his starting class nor his join condition, so both should be treated as unconfirmed. Each of these rests on one observer reading one screen, and before launch neither his starting class nor his join condition had been published, so both were treated as unconfirmed. See Classes and Recruitment.2020The retail recruitment requirements settle the Renown question. On every route where he can be recruited, he needs Support level 3 with that route's Hero and a short quest; the Renown bar is 6 on Cai's and Theodora's routes and 10 on Leda's, which is where the steep figure comes from. He cannot be recruited on Dietrich's route. On Theodora's route he also fights as a guest, alongside Orchel, Diego and Loretta, in the bandit battle of the third chapter.22+The roster grouping has since settled on Commoner, which is the same starting class most of the cast is listed under and is not in itself a statement about where he ends up. The wyvern reading survives alongside it as a separate observation, and the two are not necessarily in conflict, since units move between classes through Certification Exams rather than being locked to one. Class data recorded for this character in any other title is not this game's data and is not repeated here.2224Crest2426Roster material files him among the bearers of the Crest of Cichol, which Dagdans would call a Bloodmark. No Diadem name has been published for that line, and no Crest effect of any kind exists for this game, so the entry is a listing and nothing more. This page will stay short until the game itself fills those gaps.39+As of September 2026, this wiki has not documented a biography, a relationship list or a stat block for Seteth in this game.
