88 The village is the setting for the scene that starts the Fox route. On Cai's fifteenth birthday, in the year 1449 of the Dagdan Calendar, the temple knight Centurio arrives in Ribeira to tell Castor that the time has come to face punishment for crimes committed before Cai was born. Centurio knocks, finds the son rather than the father, remarks that the boy looks just like his mother, and leaves one word to pass on. Cai enters the Heroic Games to win the wish that would free him.

Every group entering the Games registers under a clan name, and the four Heroes' clans are each named for something personal to their leader: a home village in Cai's case. Dagda lists it among the continent's named places with the same short description the game gives it.
