Clarified the roster count wording and corrected Mikaela's join point on the Lion route
1-Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has one of the larger casts the series has fielded. The game launched on September 17, 2026, and one retail recruitment guide lists about 62 recruitable characters besides the avatar, while counts published against the pre-launch roster landed somewhere between the high fifties and the low sixties depending on which guests and boss-only units were included, so this page does not commit to a hard total. What follows is every named character this wiki has recorded, grouped by the clan or organisation they are indexed under, with their role and a short note. Characters with their own page are linked; the rest are listed here because a row is all the material currently supports.1+Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has one of the larger casts the series has fielded. The game launched on September 17, 2026, and one retail recruitment guide lists about 62 characters besides the avatar who can be recruited or join the army, while counts published against the pre-launch roster landed somewhere between the high fifties and the low sixties depending on which guests and boss-only units were included, so this page does not commit to a hard total. Characters with their own page are linked; the rest are listed here because a row is all the material currently supports.2233How the Roster Is Organised4455Units are grouped by clan rather than by class or country, because that is how the game itself indexes them. Every group entered in the Heroic Games fights under its own banner, and a unit's clan tells you which of the four routes they appear on and whether they arrive as an ally, a guest or an opponent. Many rival-clan members are both: they are fought as bosses in one route and recruited in another. The clans themselves are covered on Factions.6677The clan grouping is the game’s own, not an editorial convenience. Roster listings publish each unit under the team it fights for, with a first-appearance chapter and a first-join chapter alongside, and units that change hands are listed twice. Several characters sit under a clan banner and under a second heading as well, which is why a few names below appear in more than one table.88991010Route names in the notes below use the game's internal labels: Fox is the route of Cai, Lion is Dietrich, Wolf is Theodora and Eagle is Leda. Two shared prologues come before the routes split.11111212One piece of cast news from this window is deliberately left out below. On September 8, 2026 four of these characters, Cai, Dietrich, Theodora and Leda, were added to Fire Emblem Heroes, a separate mobile game. What they do there belongs to that game, and none of it is documented on this wiki.13131414Promised One's Army15151616The party of 1454, formed around the protagonist after the world has already fallen.17171818NameFactionRoleNotesEshmelPromised One's ArmyPlayableThe customisable player avatar and the story's protagonist; starts in the Guardian class and is available from the first prologueHong HuaPromised One's ArmyPlayableOvate; helped bring about the creation of Eshmel and fights as atonement for a past crimeTroyPromised One's ArmyPlayableWar Monk; carries the portable firearm Zerberus and joins in the second prologueFortunaPromised One's ArmyDeityGoddess of fate, affiliated with the army rather than fielded as a unit1919The Four Heroes' Clans20202121Ribeira Winds22222323NameFactionRoleNotesCaiRibeira WindsPlayable, bossHero of the Fox route; Commoner; also fought as a tutorial boss and as an opponent on the Wolf and Eagle routesTiallaRibeira WindsPlayableCommoner; childhood friend of Cai and the clan's tactician, age 15PeterRibeira WindsPlayableCommoner; childhood friend, fights with a bow, age 15UltandRibeira WindsPlayableListed as a Commoner in the roster grouping; begins with the temple units and joins the clan a little laterCastorRibeira WindsGuestThe father of Cai, imprisoned beneath Dagsion; indexed with the clan as a guest unit2424House Lamine25252626NameFactionRoleNotesDietrichHouse LaminePlayable, bossHero of the Lion route; Commoner; also fought as a tutorial boss in the second prologueFabioHouse LaminePlayableHandles the clan's logistics and pays prospective members to sign onEsmeraldaHouse LaminePlayableCommoner; joins early on the Lion route and handles heavy weapons easilyMikaelaHouse LaminePlayableJoins later on the Lion route, hired rather than recruited2727Megaira's Beacon28282929NameFactionRoleNotesTheodoraMegaira's BeaconPlayable, bossHero of the Wolf route; Noble; Queen of Saramis; also fought as a tutorial boss and on the Fox routeBonaventureMegaira's BeaconPlayableNoble; the queen's right handTobiasMegaira's BeaconPlayableNoble; axe userLysanderMegaira's BeaconPlayablePersonal skills raise his Speed after each killLilianMegaira's BeaconPlayable, bossAlso fought as an opponent on the Fox route3030Rose Tempest31313232NameFactionRoleNotesLedaRose TempestPlayable, bossHero of the Eagle route; Commoner; a vihuela player; also fought as a tutorial boss and on the Fox routeBuccarRose TempestPlayableCommonerSiroccoRose TempestPlayableCommonerMuRose TempestPlayableCommonerOlympiaRose TempestPlayable, bossBegins with the temple units; fought as an opponent earlier in the Eagle route3333Rival Clans34343535The Moon's Lie36363737NameFactionRoleNotesTalimunThe Moon's LiePlayable, bossClan leader; reported among the eight most notable fighters of the 1449 tournamentUrsulaThe Moon's LiePlayable, bossShown using the Deadeye combat art with a longbowFiannaThe Moon's LieBossA cleric attached to Vandahl Trading under Talimun; bears the Fraldarius bloodline; fought on the Wolf routeLudiaThe Moon's LieBossAttached to Vandahl Trading; the daughter of a famous soldier; fought on the Wolf routeSimonThe Moon's LiePlayableListed with the clan in the roster grouping; no starting class documented on this wiki as of September 20263838Linaria Morning Dew39394040NameFactionRoleNotesOrchelLinaria Morning DewPlayable, bossClan leader; reported among the eight most notable fighters of 1449DiegoLinaria Morning DewPlayable, bossCommoner, and a young man of the Har Hali forest tribe marked with its patterns on his arms and upper body. He competes in the Heroic Games wearing a mask, and is fought as a boss on the Wolf route, appearing in two separate chapters. His name had circulated as an unidentified masked opponent before the roster attached it.Bahr VahnNot statedIndexed among the bosses, and fought in the sixth chapter of the Wolf route, The Treasure Hunter, in a battle titled Bahr Vahn Showdown. No detail documented on this wiki as of September 2026.RandaNot statedIndexed among the non-playable cast. No detail documented on this wiki as of September 2026.8484The Bartolomé entry matters beyond the name, because it closes a gap. Theodora is described as carrying an arm that is not her own, granted by the being Mahadu, and the reason she needed one had not been published. An assassin sent after her father who took the arm in the attempt supplies it. That chain rests on roster material rather than on a Nintendo statement, so it is recorded as the current reading rather than as settled.85858686Still Unnamed87878888A further group of characters has been shown without a name attached: a figure seen with Leda, two masked opponents fought by the Wolf route party, a companion seated beside Aswan, a figure standing with Bertrand, two associates of Hong Hua, and the opponent Sirocco calls the Mad Dog. Names kept arriving through the pre-launch window, most recently Gaitz and Guillermo, and these rows will be filled in as the retail game's names are documented, and this page is the place new units are added first.89899090Published Join Points91919292Roster listings now carry a first-appearance and a first-join chapter for part of the cast. The two columns differ for the four Heroes, who are fought in the second prologue in corrupted forms before they can be played. Chapters are written the way the game writes them, as a route name, a Part number and a chapter number. Rows for the Part II and Part III joiners come from walkthroughs of the retail game.
