11The Dagdan pantheon is the set of gods worshipped across the continent of Dagda, and through them the ruling institution of the Dagdan Empire. Seven of their temples stand in a row in the upper levels of Dagsion, watched over by a bronze statue of the Divine Sovereign.2233Temple Row4455Nintendo's presentation is precise on two points: the row is watched over by a bronze statue of the Divine Sovereign, and it is home to seven temples. Volunteering at one of them earns a blessing to carry into the next battle, with effects that include a temporary stat buff and halving the damage you take. Which blessings you can call on depends on which temple you have served and how often, and the service is capped to a set number of uses each week. Temple Blessings covers the system in detail.667788The seven temples on the row are named for Fortuna, Mars, Smyrnos, Aurora, Jurah, Kalla and Credna. One preview reading of the city counts more shrines than seven across the upper and lower levels, including one at the very top used by the Divine Sovereign, so the full layout is not settled. Seven is what Nintendo says, and seven is what this page follows.991010Divine Services and God Requests11111212The retail game adds Divine Services, a weekly prayer at the temples that raises the player's standing with a god and does not cost a turn. Six gods take part, each with a day on which prayer earns a bonus; Fortuna and Yu Phas are not among them, and Blessing levels carry across all four routes. When a god's shrine icon on Temple Row lights up, the player can also hold an audience with that god for a small amount of Renown.13131414GodService dayPart III requestClass unlockedTrial rewardAuroraMondayDeliver five AngelicaWar MonkCloth of AuroraMarsTuesdayDeliver a Golden Helm from Nemea CavernSwordmasterMars's KneepadsSmyrnosWednesdayPut out the flames in Iapetus CavernHigh SavantSmyrnos's Channels and an Agnea tomeJurahThursdayDeliver Dagda's Godshield, found at Dagsion SummitValkyriumJurah's Ice Mirror and the Shield of ZephyrusKallaFridayDeliver Sandalwood from Brigadier PassBow KnightKalla's NeedleCrednaSaturdayDeliver a Desert Sunstone from Dragonbone TempleGreat KnightCredna's Mallet1515The requests belong to Part III, where each god's temple on the world map has to be repaired before the god will ask; Aurora is found in Temple Row in Dagsion instead. Every request pays 10,000 gold and 100 Renown and opens a level 60 Trial Clash for the listed reward. Credna can also upgrade Eshmel's spear, the Nameless Spear, into the Shining Spear once his temple has been repaired.16161717The Gods18181919DeityRoleNotesSolelDivine Sovereign and god of the sunRules the empire as regent while the founding king sleeps. Her Part III request asks for Dagda's Godshield.DagdaThe founding kingThe empire's first ruler, filed among the gods in roster material and honoured with a temple at the top of Hightown, where the fifth chapter of Part II, Divine Emperor Dagda, ends in a battle against him; he is fought again at the opening of Part III. The continent carries his name; see Dagdan Empire.2020Family ties run through the group: the Divine Sovereign is named as Yu Phas's husband and Aurora's father, which makes the goddess Saramis worships part of the ruling family the rest of the continent venerates.21212222Marks and Blessings23232424Each deity is tied to a hereditary mark carried by certain mortals. Dagdans do not call these marks crests: the collective term is Bloodmark, and an individual one is a Diadem, each associated with a member of the pantheon. The pairing that had been contested has since settled, and roster material now files seven of the gods against a named mark, five of which also carry a published Diadem name.25252626DeityMark It Is Associated WithDiadem NameAuroraCrest of AubinDiadem of the ApostleJurahCrest of FraldariusDiadem of RevivalCrednaCrest of NoaDiadem of the AugerKallaCrest of DominicNot publishedMarsCrest of DaphnelNot publishedSmyrnosCrest of MacuilNot publishedFortunaCrest of GonerilNot published2727One further pairing sits outside the table because the god does. Balor is filed against the Crest of Gautier and the Diadem of Duality, and he belongs to the underworld rather than to this pantheon. That is the entry that makes the pattern legible: every sighting of the Gautier mark has been red and black and has appeared beside cursed equipment, and the god it answers to is the god of curses. The fifth published Diadem name, the Diadem of the Endless, belongs to the Lamine line and has no god attached to it yet.28282929As of September 2026, what a Diadem does is still not published for any of these lines. See Crests for the bearer listings and for why no effect figure appears anywhere on this wiki.303031313232Outside the Pantheon33333434Balor, the revived demon god, belongs to the underworld and stands outside this pantheon; by the year 1454 of the Dagdan Calendar he has invaded Dagda. Sothis appears as the progenitor god who calls a single soul down to face him, and roster material files her among the divinities without giving her a place on temple row.35353636Related Pages37373838Solel, the sun god whose bronze statue watches the row, rules the empire as regent while its founding king sleeps. Dagsion places temple row within the wider capital, and Balor, who belongs to the underworld rather than to this group, is covered separately.
