The roster listings file her under names that have been shown on screen but whose role is unconfirmed, so whether she can be recruited, and to which of the factions she belongs, is still open.

8-Two moments involving Aswan are on the record. In the first she recognises Bertrand in the Heroic Games of 1449 and is shaken to find him alive; her line is barely a sentence, just that he is alive after all. She knew him before the tournament, which puts her somewhere in his past, but the nature of that connection has not been explained.

10-In the second she talks to Leda and asks, with obvious embarrassment, whether she might count Leda as a friend, admitting that she does not have many friends her own age. A support entry pairs the two, so their conversations are likely to carry more of her story once the game is out.

12-Beyond those, she has a second portrait showing her in disguise, which means she appears in at least two guises during the story. One character listing records an unnamed husband; as of September 2026 nothing about him has been shown, and the detail rests on a single entry.

16-As of September 2026, no official character profile, roster listing or voice credit gives her a class, a faction or a recruitment chapter. The listing that carries her is explicitly for characters whose names have appeared but who have not been announced as part of any team, and that is where she still sits. Nothing here should be read as confirmation that she is playable.
16+Aswan's first battle alongside the player comes in the War Arc of Part II. In Chapter 3, Beyond the Salt Road, she and Tahonia make their way to the player's leader during the battle Grand Aragon Invaded, and talking to them turns both into playable guest units for that fight. They do not stay with the army at that point.

18+Both join permanently at the start of the Fifth Section of Part III, Song of the Living, on the condition that they survived as guests in Part II Chapter 3. Keeping them alive in that battle is what secures them later.
