The Heavenstone System is EVILBANE's signature take on character skills. Every character goes into a fight with a four-skill loadout: two Active Skills that come from the weapons they are carrying, plus two Heavenstone Skills chosen before the mission begins. Together these define how your character plays beyond basic attacks, and the Heavenstone half is where the most dramatic abilities live.

The Skill Loadout

Your Active Skills are tied to your equipped gear, so they change with the weapon pairing you bring (see Weapons). Your Heavenstone Skills, by contrast, are selected and customized ahead of time, before you drop into a mission. They are powerful enough to turn a fight on their own, and they are built to be combined: a squad can line up Heavenstone Skills together for big, coordinated moments. That makes them a centerpiece of both Combat and Co-op and Multiplayer.

Pre-Mission Choices

Because Heavenstone Skills are picked before you start, they are part of how you prepare for what is ahead, much like choosing the right weapons. Setting up the right pair for the encounter you are about to face ties directly into the game's Missions, where harder content and bigger rewards reward thoughtful preparation.

Named Examples

A couple of Heavenstone Skills have been shown by name as examples of the kind of impact they can have. Meteor and Arrow Barrage have both been mentioned, giving a sense of the large, fight-altering abilities the system is built around.
