Finding Silas's house
Follow Mevasser home. Fight or pay the thieves who stop him, then inspect the woodcut and workshop evidence indoors. The clues identify Silas as a former cobbler in Altenmarkt.
Ask Henrik about him and find the yellow house near the stone arch. Let Crake pick the lock. Inspect the chimney and nearby floor to reveal the basement hatch. The current owner can be threatened or paid 50 Denarii. Downstairs, investigate the bookcase and the draft behind it, then move it to expose the passage.
Laboratory and rescue
Search Silas's laboratory, follow the intruders' footprints and blood trail, and inspect the bodies at the massacre site. Reading the Orders from Master Aurelius leads into the scene where Crake is dragged away.
Continue along the blood trail, fight through the ruins and defeat the Crypt Dweller and its companions. Find Crake and lead him outside. He explains Aurelius's identity and tower location, and reveals Marat as his real name.
Walking Crake back to the hideout costs one additional segment. It adds the scene of tending his wounds and is useful for his romance route, while the main investigation can finish without the escort.
