Scouting Towers reveal nearby points of interest as question marks on the map. Reach the scouting point at the top and interact with it; simply passing the tower does not scout its region.

Reaching the top
Look for a visible destination at the tower's upper edge with Focus Mode. Where Shadowstep can target the scouting point directly, the teleport can shorten the climb. Otherwise, follow the exterior handholds or nearby route until the top is in reach.
