Saint Mihai

Rebuilt the legend section from the valley chronicle, moved the crypt encounter and the legendary sword into a clearly hedged preview-material section, and removed the unsourced sword name, fragment-hunt questline, and second-Dawnwalker claim
Saint Mihai is one of only two saints venerated in Vale Sangora, the other being Saint Tyna. The valley's in-world chronicle, written in the voice of Albertus Taurinus, records that Mihai lived many centuries before the game's 1347 setting and was born a pagan. According to the early chroniclers quoted there, he became a fearless knight and died fighting a horrible monster, and a shrine was raised at the site of his death.
The chronicle's account of a pilgrimage to that shrine is the closest thing to a first-hand description of him that has been published: "As I was praying, I suddenly heard a blood-curdling howl. I told myself it must have been a wolf... Even though deep down, I knew that the truth was different." The legend, in other words, is presented from the start as a story with something unresolved underneath it.
Mihai is also named as the patron saint of the cathedral in Svartrau, the valley's capital. The same chronicle describes Svartrau Cathedral as grand but dark and foreboding, reputed to be haunted, with few willing to walk its long naves after dark. Its archives are where the chronicler spent most of his time in the city.
Everything in this section comes from footage of a pre-release preview build rather than from a studio statement. It is documented well enough to record, but none of it has been confirmed by the developers, and any of it may differ in the shipped game.
In that footage Mihai appears as a boss inside a hidden crypt beneath the cathedral, reached during a quest called "A Monk and a Saint", which begins when Coen hears about a legendary sword said to lie in the crypt. The route is reported to work in either half of the day cycle: the cathedral is open to the public during daylight, while at night it is entered through an open balcony. The objectives differ between the two, with questioning people and finding a chronicle in the library by day, and the frescoes, the courtyard, the pulpit and a commemorative plate by night.
Mihai himself is shown walled up in the crypt rather than laid to rest in it, still animate after centuries, and carrying the sword the quest is after. He attacks on sight, shouting the name Tobias at an opponent he seems to mistake Coen for. Who Tobias is, and what Mihai believes was done to him, has not been published. The encounter is listed in preview material as non-optional, meaning the quest cannot be finished by avoiding him.
Xanthe is documented at the cathedral altar in the same preview build, so the two encounters may sit on the same path through the building. That connection is an inference from the footage and has not been stated by the developers.
Whether Mihai is one of the Dawnwalkers, a vampire, or something with no name yet. Community summaries have called him a second Dawnwalker; no studio material says so, and the chronicle only calls him a saint.
The name of the sword he carries. Published material describes it only as a legendary sword. Names circulating for it are not traceable to any source.
Whether reaching him is main-story content or side content, and how the encounter is scheduled against the Quest System and the day and night split.
Whether the crypt beneath the cathedral is the tomb the legend refers to. The chronicle places his shrine at the site of his death, not in the city.
