An All-Rounder build spreads investment across Swordmastery, Witchcraft and Vampirism. Its purpose is to keep useful defenses and recovery in both halves of the day while retaining sword attacks as a common foundation.
Build priorities
Detail | Requirement |
|---|---|
Shared foundation | Perfect Block, charge support and Dirty Trick |
Day tools | Burning Blood, then Life Lock and Soul Reaping as they unlock |
Night tools | Voracious Bite, Scarlet Shield and claw or sword support |
Tradeoff | Investment spread across three trees delays deeper specialization. |
Developing in stages
Start with Swordmastery tools that work in either form. Perfect Block and Perfect Riposte improve the defensive exchange, Sustained Focus increases charge capacity and Master Fencer opens Swordmastery slots. Burning Blood provides daytime damage, while Voracious Bite supplies night recovery.
Add Witchcraft support through Forbidden Sigils, Frugal Witchcraft and Witchcraft Mastery. Frugal Witchcraft returns health when an affected enemy dies; Unholy Fervour is the separate charge-refund perk. Life Lock requires Who Pulls the Strings, so use the defensive tools already available until that quest is completed.
For the night side, develop healing, claw efficiency and cooldown support as Corruption permits. Scarlet Shield requires Ambrus's blood, while Piercing Shriek has its own quest or phial unlock. A build table listing these early does not bypass their prerequisites.
Later equipment and abilities
Durandal and Pieter's Garb provide useful mid-run options, with Ambrus's Cuirass for the night preset. Later choices include The Hand of Fate for daytime Witchcraft support, The Contender for ability-focused swordplay, Arbiter armour pieces and Knightly Ring. Compare bonuses against the way each preset is actually used.
Life Lock and Soul Reaping support daytime survival. Dirty Trick and Artery Strike remain shared offense and control, while Voracious Bite and Scarlet Shield support the night fights. Tactical Mastery's charge-cost reduction can serve abilities across the trees.
Choose a few goals at each stage rather than buying every recommended node at once. Training uses both skill points and the calendar, and a broad setup reaches expensive capstones more slowly than a specialist.
