White Blizzard is a faction quest belonging to House Lanford in Crimson Desert. After completing Chapter 6 of the main story, Kliff can travel to Hoenmark Ruins in the Hernand Region to confront Beloth, the Darksworn. Head to Argent Peaks Outpost, east of Hoenmark Ruins. Wounded soldiers there brief you on the threat at the ruins. If you already visited this outpost before completing Chapter 6, this step is skipped automatically.
Journey to Hoenmark Ruins in the Hernand region. The ruins are in a cold area, so bring appropriate gear and consumables for cold resistance.
Upon arriving at the ruins, the boss encounter triggers. Beloth, the Darksworn is a challenging opponent armored in the same shadow plate set you receive as a reward. Fighting him triggers the quest sub-title 'Wraith in the Frost.'
Beloth is a formidable opponent on par with main story bosses. He wears heavy plate armor that reduces the effectiveness of light attacks. Use heavy-hitting skills and abilities to break through his defenses. Watch for his charge attacks that cover large distances quickly. Keep your health topped up with elixirs and use Palmar Pills as insurance against sudden death.
This quest requires Chapter 6 completion. Do not attempt it earlier, as the area will not trigger the boss encounter.
The Shadows armor set is one of the strongest full sets available at this stage. Equip all five pieces for the set bonus.
Stock up on cold resistance consumables and elixirs before heading to Hoenmark Ruins. The cold debuff significantly reduces stamina recovery.
Beloth's heavy armor means light attacks deal reduced damage. Prioritize heavy attacks, skills, and abilities that deal high single-hit damage.
Palmar Pills are strongly recommended as backup. The fight is long and punishing, and a single death means restarting from the last checkpoint.
