Expand Spinning Slash Proficiency with rotation combo detail and tier table
Spinning Slash Proficiency is a melee enhancement for Kliff in the Stamina Skill Tree. It upgrades the base Spinning Slash to allow consecutive spinning attacks. By repeatedly pressing R1 + X, Kliff chains multiple spinning slashes together for sustained rotational damage.

Upgrade Spinning Slash to Level 2 by spending 1 Abyss Artifact. Alternatively, observe the skill being used in combat to learn it through the Watch and Learn mechanic.
The consecutive slashes are excellent for clearing groups of weaker enemies in a single flurry.
Be mindful of Stamina consumption since each successive spin drains additional Stamina.
Combine with Nature's Echo for the Echoing Spinning Slash variant that doubles your damage.
The core appeal of Spinning Slash Proficiency is the way it turns Kliff's single-spin attack into a sustained circular flurry. Each press of R1 + X (or RB + A on Xbox) triggers another spin in the same sequence, and the direction of each additional rotation follows the left stick, so you can drift through a cluster of enemies rather than staying rooted to one spot.
The combo ends when Stamina runs out or you release the input. Because Stamina drains per spin, a full rotation set against a single tough target is wasteful; save the follow-up spins for groups or for enemies standing in a tight line.

Spinning Slash Proficiency is part of the chain that leads to Echoing Spinning Slash under the Nature's Echo system. Once Nature's Echo is unlocked and active, the echo version of Spinning Slash doubles the hit count by mirroring Kliff's spins with nature energy. The Proficiency follow-up spins count as separate inputs for the echo, so the damage increase scales with how many spins you manage to chain before running out of Stamina.
