Shadows of Beasts is a Pailune Militia faction quest in Crimson Desert. The quest is part of the Dark Shadow Engulfing the Fort quest chain. Dangerous creatures have been prowling near military fortifications in the Pailune region, threatening both soldiers and civilians. Kliff is called upon to investigate and eliminate the beast threat.

Accept the quest from the Pailune Militia faction questline.
Travel to the fort area where the beast sightings have been reported.
Track the creatures using environmental clues such as claw marks and trails.
Engage and defeat the beasts threatening the fort.
Report back to the militia commander to complete the quest.
Pailune Militia quests become available during Chapter 7: Homecoming when the story takes Kliff to the Pailune region.
Beast encounters in Pailune can be challenging. Bring adequate healing items and use area-of-effect skills to handle groups.
