The Sanctum of Deliverance is one of six Sanctums scattered across the continent of Pywel in Crimson Desert. Like all Sanctums, it is described as a place imbued with spiritual power, reportedly created in the ancient past to restore the world and its providence. The Antumbra revere Sanctums as sacred ground because of the immense power they hold.
The Sanctum of Deliverance is associated with the Sixth Edict, which declares: "Place no faith in the false promises of salvation uttered by those who treat darkness lightly."
This Sanctum's puzzle is built around sealed doors that require lantern activation and two Fusion Reactor Cores that must be retrieved and installed.
The Sanctum of Deliverance is positioned southeast of Stormtalon Ridge in the Hernand region. An Abyss Cresset to the southwest provides a fast travel point for reaching the area. The Sanctum sits among weathered stone ruins in an open area with several sealed side rooms.
Sanctums become accessible after White Crow the Witch is unlocked as an NPC merchant during Chapter 5 of the main story. Once unlocked, she assigns a quest to cleanse all six Sanctums throughout the world. Players can set waypoints to any Sanctum through their quest journal.
Antumbra zealots guard the Sanctum of Deliverance. Players must liberate the site by defeating all occupying enemies until the green progress bar is fully depleted. Only after the area is cleared can the puzzle components be accessed.
The Sanctum of Deliverance puzzle requires locating two Fusion Reactor Cores hidden behind sealed doors. Lantern mechanics are central to accessing both cores.
Locate the sealed door with two unlit lanterns on either side. Light both lanterns using fire arrows or the Blinding Flash ability. Once the lanterns are lit, the door opens to reveal the first Fusion Reactor Core: LII-VI. Use Axiom Force to grab the core and seal it inside the Kuku Pot.
A treasure chest sits behind the core's pedestal. Open it for additional loot before moving on.
The second Fusion Reactor Core: IV is located in a separate sealed chamber. Search the surrounding ruins for another set of lanterns guarding a locked passage. Light the lanterns to gain entry, then use Axiom Force to collect the second core.
Return to the main Sanctum generator structure. Unseal the cores from your Kuku Pot and place each one into its designated slot. Use Force Palm to push the cores into their recesses. Once both are installed, the generator activates and the Sanctum of Deliverance is cleansed.
Cleansing the Sanctum of Deliverance rewards the Blueprint II: Kuku Flame-Resistant Armor and Blueprint II: Kuku Frostspitter. These are valuable crafting blueprints for high-tier defensive and offensive equipment. Completing all six Sanctums fulfills the Witch's cleansing quest.
After cleansing, White Crow the Witch appears and shares the history of the Sanctum, connecting it to the Antumbra's warnings about false promises of salvation.
