The Rescue Puppy Outfit is a cosmetic Pet Outfit in Crimson Desert. Designed for dog companions, this outfit evokes the look of a dependable rescue dog that runs through rough mountain terrain. When worn, it completes the appearance of a reliable partner who helps an ally in crisis.

Like all pet outfits in Crimson Desert, the Rescue Puppy Outfit is purely cosmetic. It does not provide any stat bonuses or gameplay advantages. Pets do not participate in combat directly, so their equipment serves as a way to personalize your companion's appearance as they follow you across Pywel.

How to Obtain

The Rescue Puppy Outfit can be purchased from two Pets-Tailor Shops in Pywel:

• Remy's Pets-Tailor Shop in southwestern Demeniss City (near Demeniss Castle). This is usually the first pet tailor shop most players encounter. It becomes accessible around Chapter 8 of the main quest. Remy's shop stocks a limited selection that includes the Rescue Puppy Outfit and the Puppy Plate Helm.

• Milou's Tailor Shop in Pororin Village (Grace Estate, northeastern part of the village). This shop carries the full selection of pet cosmetics. To access Pororin Village, players must complete The Unreachable Village and Authorized Access quests, which involve retrieving the Relic of Pororin from Offin, a giant walking tree.

The outfit costs 240 Copper (2.40 Silver) at both locations and is immediately available for use after purchase. No crafting or special materials are required.

Both shops may carry additional items as the player builds trust with the merchant by gifting preferred items. The Shai shopkeepers are said to enjoy rare flowers, honey candies, and colorful fabrics.

Refinement

The Rescue Puppy Outfit has a refinement table in the game's database, but at its base level (+0), no additional stats, materials, or upgrade costs are listed beyond the initial purchase price. Since pet outfits are cosmetic items, refinement does not add combat stats.

How to Equip

After purchasing the Rescue Puppy Outfit, follow these steps to equip it on your dog companion:

• Open your inventory menu.

• Switch to the Pets tab at the top of the inventory screen.

• Select the pet you wish to dress. Only dog and puppy breeds can wear this outfit.

• Scroll to the Rescue Puppy Outfit in your inventory and press Equip.

• The outfit will appear on your pet immediately, and the change is visible in the open world.

You can swap between different outfits at any time. Unequipping an outfit returns it to your inventory, where it can be equipped on a different pet.

Compatible Breeds

The Rescue Puppy Outfit can be equipped on any dog or puppy breed in Crimson Desert. The following breeds are confirmed to be compatible:

Cat breeds cannot wear dog outfits. For feline companions, look for cat-specific equipment such as the Cat Plate Armor or the Peddler Cat Outfit.
