Maze Pathfinder

Initial version
Maze Pathfinder is a Bronze trophy awarded for completing every Maze Challenge in Crimson Desert. The trophy description reads "Even the most tangled paths fail to lead you astray." Mazes are a distinct exploration subcategory tracked under the Winding Paths tab in the Journal.
There are 4 Maze Challenges total in Crimson Desert. Each maze is a self-contained puzzle zone with three hidden Engraved Stones that must be collected and slotted into a central receptacle to activate an Abyss Cresset. All four share that Engraved Stone structure, but each uses a different puzzle mechanic for actually obtaining the stones. Completing all four is one of the nine subcategories feeding into the Expert Explorer gold trophy.

In-Game Description | Even the most tangled paths fail to lead you astray. |
Unlock Requirement | Complete all 4 Maze Challenges |

Required Abilities | Force Palm (all tiers), Force Current, Concentrated Light |
Missable | No. Mazes remain accessible in post-game free roam. |
Estimated Time | 2 to 4 hours |
Maze | Region | Key Mechanic |
|---|---|---|
Maze of Burhum | Crimson Desert (Burhum town) | Find Engraved Stones behind fragile wall plates; place them in rooftop niches |
Maze of Dawnreach | Crimson Desert (Dawnreach town) | Use Force Palm three times on leaning towers to push them upright |
Hernand | Raise and lower pillars using Concentrated Light to equal heights, revealing hidden nooks | |
Desert Border Maze | Northern Demeniss, Smoking Lands | Rotate 11 sun and moon symbol doors to match the central diagram |
Start with Ancient Rift Maze in Hernand. It is the most accessible maze early in the game and only needs Concentrated Light for the pillar-height puzzle. The maze doubles as a test bed for the shared Engraved Stone mechanic that all four mazes use.
Next, go to Burhum in the Crimson Desert (Region) and solve the Maze of Burhum. Expect to fight Crimson Desert faction enemies before the puzzle becomes interactive. Watch for cracked wall segments: striking them with Force Palm reveals hidden niches containing Engraved Stones.
Save Dawnreach Maze for later, because it requires the third tier of Force Palm. Each leaning tower needs three consecutive Force Palm hits to be pushed fully upright, and only the third upgrade tier delivers that much force in one strike. The fourth maze, Desert Border, is the most complex but has no ability gating; it just takes careful reading of the central diagram and patient work through the 11 doors.
Each maze also uses Force Current or Stab in spots to interact with distant mechanisms. See Maze Challenges for the full ability list per maze.

Force Palm Expertise — upgrade tiers needed for Dawnreach
Do not attempt Dawnreach until you have fully upgraded Force Palm to its third tier. Early tiers only budge leaning towers partially, which wastes your time and does not count as progress. Grind the Force Palm skill tree first through its associated Sealed Abyss Artifact challenges.
Snap a screenshot of the central diagram at Desert Border Maze before you start flipping doors. The diagram is across the arena from the doors themselves, and the map fast-travel points do not help once you are inside. Having a reference image on hand speeds the solve considerably.
Every maze drops an Abyss Artifact on completion, so finishing the trophy also yields four skill points. Pair Maze Pathfinder runs with Secret Places visits in the same region to consolidate travel.
Maze Pathfinder is the smallest of the four major exploration trophies and the one most players finish first. It feeds directly into Expert Explorer, alongside Pilgrim of Wonders, Conqueror of Spires, and Puzzle Solver. See the Trophy Roadmap for the most efficient completion order.
