Overview

The Jester Leather Cloak is a leather cloak in Crimson Desert. It provides 1 DEF and Lightning Resistance Lv.3. Cloaks are equipped in the back slot and can only be worn one at a time. While they generally do not provide high defense, their primary purpose is to grant elemental resistances and other passive effects.

As a leather cloak, the Jester Leather Cloak follows the material rule where leather cloaks provide Lightning Resistance. The Lv.3 rating represents the maximum resistance tier for a single piece of equipment, making this cloak one of the better options for protection against lightning-based threats. The 1 DEF is modest but contributes to overall damage reduction.

How to Obtain

The exact acquisition method for the Jester Leather Cloak has not been fully documented. It may be available through crafting at a Blacksmith, purchased from equipment vendors, or found as loot in the open world. Check the back-alley shops and equipment merchants in towns across Hernand and other regions.

Notes

• Lightning Resistance Lv.3 is the highest single-piece resistance tier, making this cloak effective against lightning-based boss attacks and environmental hazards.

• Other leather cloaks with Lightning Resistance Lv.3 include the Hungering Fang Leather Cloak (4 DEF) and the Sunset Reed Leather Cloak, though those are obtained through different means.

• For players facing fire-based enemies instead, consider switching to a plate cloak such as the Frostcursed Plate Cloak or the Scorchflame Plate Cloak.

• Cloaks can be refined at a Blacksmith to improve their defense stat through the Refinement system. The elemental resistance level does not change through refinement.
