Spending Contribution Points on Hires

Beyond its value as a simple trade commodity, Greymane Contribution ties directly into the dispatch system once you have claimed the Seal of Devotion from the Flame Knight in Demenis after Chapter 8. With the seal in your inventory, the dispatch interface gains a hire button that lets you fill empty dispatch slots with temporary workers in exchange for Contribution Points.

Hired workers count exactly like regular Greymane comrades for the purpose of the minimum personnel count on any mission. This means a multi-skill dispatch that requires four or more participants can be completed with just a single qualified Greymane plus a full stack of hires, which is especially useful for filling ruins exploration and high-end production missions.

The most important detail: Contribution Points spent on hires are fully refunded once the mission returns to camp. You are not permanently spending the points, only temporarily locking them up for the duration of the mission. That makes hiring effectively free and should be treated as the default move whenever you have an empty slot you cannot otherwise fill.
