Press L2 + R2 during Shield Toss to imbue it with an element. The shield carries elemental energy as it bounces between targets, applying elemental effects to each enemy it hits.
Elemental Shield Toss is particularly strong because Shield Toss bounces between multiple targets, spreading the elemental effect across a group. Frost imbue is especially effective here, as it can slow several enemies at once. This skill requires Imbue Element Level 3, so it is a mid-to-late game option.
