Elantrima is one of the five standard horse breeds in Crimson Desert. Known for its thick-furred lower legs, ornate markings, and elegant appearance, the Elantrima is a favorite among in-game nobles. According to its Knowledge entry, Elantrimas are often seen at festivals and parades. Nobles, captivated by their looks, are said to go to great lengths to obtain Elantrimas of rare coats.
Elantrima has the highest Health (600), Stamina (255), and Handling (2) among all standard breeds. Its unique skill, Lateral Movement (unlocked at Trust Level 3), allows the horse to move sideways like a dressage horse, giving it superior directional control during travel. The Elantrima also comes with an extra inventory slot compared to standard horses, making it the go-to choice for trading runs and resource gathering.

Elantrima's 600 Health is nearly double the Brianto's 300 HP, making it the most durable standard horse by a wide margin. Its 255 Stamina is also the highest in the standard tier. This durability makes Elantrima ideal for long exploration sessions and for surviving mounted combat encounters where other breeds would be incapacitated.
Level | Health | Stamina | Attack | Evade | Move Speed | Atk Speed | Climb Speed | Swim Speed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Lv. 1 | 600 | 255 | 10 | 50 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 2 |

Lv. 5 | 720 | 330 | 23 | 62 | 3 | 3 | 4 | 2 |
At Level 5, Elantrima reaches a massive 720 Health and 330 Stamina, far ahead of every other standard breed. Its Climb Speed of 4 at max level is the highest in the standard tier, making it excellent for navigating uneven terrain.
Elantrima's signature skill is Lateral Movement, unlocked at Trust Level 3. This skill allows the horse to sidestep left or right, similar to dressage. It is unique to Elantrima among standard breeds.
Level | Skill | Description |
|---|---|---|
Lv. 1 | Dash | Burst of forward speed for quick travel. |
Lv. 2 | Drift | Sharp turns while sprinting without losing momentum. |
Lv. 3 | Back Kick | The horse kicks backward, hitting enemies behind. |
Lv. 3 | Lateral Movement | Move sideways while riding. Press left or right plus brake while stationary or walking. Provides superior directional control, especially useful on uneven terrain and during trade runs. Unique to Elantrima. |
Lv. 3 | Sprint | Extended high-speed gallop consuming stamina. |
Lv. 4 | Swimming III | Improved swimming speed in water. |
Lv. 5 | Quick Start | Faster acceleration from a standstill. |
Lv. 5 | Double Jump | Perform a second jump in mid-air. |
Wild Elantrima horses can be found roaming across Pywel. They tend to appear in mixed terrain areas rather than concentrated in one specific biome. Jump on the horse's back and complete the taming minigame by keeping the camera behind the horse and moving in the opposite direction it faces until the taming bar fills.
Stable merchants in major settlements sell Elantrima horses for silver. Check stables in Hernand, Demeniss, and other major towns.
You can steal an Elantrima from NPCs while wearing a mask, though this increases your bounty.

Elantrima is one of the four tamable horse breeds required for the Harmonious Hooves challenge (#7). Ride each of the four tamable breeds (Brianto, Priden, Elantrima, and Numont) for over 100 meters each.
Elantrima is a great transitional mount between your starting Herspia and the legendary horses. Its balanced stats make it comfortable for all content.
The extra inventory slot makes Elantrima the best horse for trade runs and resource gathering. Prioritize it if you spend time on commerce.
Feed your horse to level it up faster. Feeding is significantly quicker than passive riding experience.
Caress your horse (target it and press R) for free experience without spending any resources.
Since Elantrima stats are slightly randomized when tamed, try taming two or three wild ones and compare their stats at a stable to find the best roll.
Equip horseshoes to compensate for Elantrima's average movement speed on flat ground.
If you need specialized performance, switch to Brianto for speed or Priden for vertical exploration. Keep Elantrima as your default all-rounder.
