Egg

Eggs are an animal product in Starsand Island, produced by chickens and ducks at your ranch. Eggs are one of the most versatile cooking ingredients in the game, appearing in dishes that span every category from breakfast staples to high-tier dessert recipes.

How to Obtain

• Chicken Coop. Build a Chicken Coop from Pastelle at Green Pasture Ranch (Junior Rancher tier blueprint, 750 Coins). Chickens lay one egg per day when fed.

• Duck Coop. Ducks also produce eggs. The Duck Coop blueprint is sold by Pastelle (Junior Rancher tier).

• Poultry Egg Station. The Poultry Egg Station automates egg collection from coops, removing the daily manual collection step.

Egg vs Giant Egg

The standard Egg is distinct from the Giant Egg, which is laid by Pearl Chickens, Ink Chickens, Mellowhens, and other higher-tier poultry variants. Some recipes (like Super Nutritious Omelette) require Giant Eggs specifically. Always check recipe requirements before substituting.

Tips

• Build multiple coops. Egg demand grows quickly with cooking. Two or three coops keep the supply ahead of recipe consumption.

• Automate with the Poultry Egg Station. This Intermediate Rancher blueprint collects eggs from all coops automatically, saving daily errand time.

• Hatch into more chickens. Eggs can be placed in an Incubator to hatch new poultry, expanding your flock.

• Don't sell raw eggs. Cooking eggs into Tea Egg, Wishful Heart Cookies, or Tomato Egg Bloom multiplies their sell value 2 to 3 times.
