The April-June 2026 Developer Roadmap is the first major public roadmap published for Crimson Desert after the game's March 19, 2026 launch. Pearl Abyss shared it as a Dev Update on April 9, 2026, alongside Patch 1.03.00. The roadmap outlines new content, character-play improvements, quality-of-life features, and system work that will ship gradually across April, May, and June. Names and specifics may shift before each feature reaches live service.

Feature | Summary |
|---|---|
Players will be able to challenge any previously defeated boss again to test how far their build has progressed. | |
Enemy remnants will attempt to reclaim liberated locations, creating recurring open-world skirmishes. | |
Three selectable difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Hard) aimed at story-focused, balanced, and veteran playstyles. |
Damiane and Oongka are receiving new abilities equivalent to Kliff's Force Palm and Axiom Force so the three characters have comparable open-world utility. The first wave of those skills landed in Patch 1.03.00.
Hide Back Weapons: an option to conceal back-mounted weapons outside combat for players who want a cleaner silhouette. A first pass shipped with 1.03.00's Weapon Display setting.
New Outfits: additional cosmetics are being added, and several Legacy Outfits that were previously donation-only are being reworked into wearable gear.
A Specialized Storage System is being added to cut down on inventory clutter. Four dedicated storage types are planned:
Storage Type | Intended Use |
|---|---|
Cooking ingredients and prepared meals. | |
Armor, outfits, and accessories. | |
Gathered crafting materials. | |
Quest items, recipes, and collection-tracked goods. |
New summonable Mounts and Pets are also on the roadmap, along with dedicated armor sets for non-horse mounts.
Minimum font size adjustment (shipped in Patch 1.03.00).
Expanded map and inventory UI refinements.
Additional controller customization and more flexible keyboard and mouse keybinding options.
Improved distant scenery rendering for more convincing landscapes.
The official Crimson Desert original soundtrack is being released for free on Steam and major music streaming services as part of the roadmap window.
Pearl Abyss is rolling the roadmap out gradually from April through June 2026. Feature-by-feature release dates were not committed at announcement, and the studio noted that names and specifics may change before release. The first batch of roadmap items appeared in Patch 1.03.00 (character ability parity, weapon display, minimum font size, and camp improvements).
