Overview

Delkin is the grocer at the Hernand Grocer's Shop in Hernand. He insists on using only fresh materials sourced directly from Hernand's surrounding fields. Players can purchase ingredients from Delkin for use in cooking recipes and other crafting purposes. He is one of the food-related NPC vendors in the town, alongside Renee the butcher.

Iguana Taming Supplier

Beyond the standard cooking use case, Delkin is the canonical stop for stocking up on feed before a special mounts taming run on an Iguana. Iguana mounts do not accept meat. The only confirmed food types that move the trust bar are vegetables sold by grocers, and Delkin keeps a full stock of the three most reliable options on rotation.

Vegetables to Buy

Each piece of vegetable delivers 40 trust when fed to a stolen iguana from the saddle. Three feedings cap the trust meter at 100 and unlock the Take In prompt, so a clean run only needs three vegetables. Stocking five or six covers a misclick or a second iguana on the same trip.

Route from Delkin to the Fighting Pit

• 1. Buy vegetables at Delkin's stall in Hernand. Aim for at least three pieces; pad to five or six if multiple iguanas are planned.

• 2. Open the world map and fast travel to the Tashkalp town's Abyss Nexus. The fighting pit sits on a lower terrace on the same side as the nexus rooftop.

• 3. Jump and glide down from the nexus rooftop toward the pit. Landing inside or just outside the fence avoids the guarded market gate.

• 4. Approach a penned iguana and press the Steal prompt. Run out of the red zone to drop the contribution penalty before feeding.

• 5. Open the inventory while mounted, hold the feed button on a vegetable, and select Feed. Repeat three times for full trust, then press the Take In prompt to register the iguana in the special mounts tab.

Notes for Cooking Use

Delkin's stock doubles as cooking ingredients. The same carrots, potatoes, and cabbages used for an iguana run also slot into the cooking system as base ingredients for soups and stews. Restock here whenever a Hernand visit is on the route; the stall refreshes its inventory on the standard vendor reset cycle.
