The Choppy is a heteromorph creature documented in the Mysterious Cabin section of the Knowledge System. It is a strange animal resembling a small white rabbit, recognized across Pywel as a symbol of fortune and joy. Despite its familiar rabbit-like appearance, the Choppy's unusual anatomy and mysterious origins place it firmly in the heteromorph category alongside other creatures that defy ordinary classification.

Appearance

At first glance, the Choppy could be mistaken for a common rabbit due to its small white body and soft fur. On closer inspection, however, several features set it apart. The Choppy has large, pointed ears that are proportionally much bigger than those of an ordinary rabbit, giving it a distinctive silhouette. The two-legged hopping motion is unlike the four-legged bounding of a standard rabbit and gives the Choppy a bouncing, almost playful gait. How to Tame

The Choppy became a tameable pet in Patch 1.08.00, which expanded the roster of wild animals you can adopt as companions. Like other pets, the Choppy is recruited by raising its Trust to 100 through petting and feeding, then taking it in.

Where to Find Choppy

A group of roughly ten to fifteen Choppy rabbits gathers on a cliffside ledge in the frozen northern region of Pailune. The spot sits in the high mountain country near the Upper Nas River and the Argent Peaks. Pailune's cold steadily drains stamina, so frost-resistant armor makes the climb and the chase much easier.

Building Trust

Approach a Choppy carefully, since it darts away at the slightest disturbance, and interact with it to open the Trust meter. Feeding is the fastest way to fill that meter. Carrots are an inexpensive option that any grocer stocks, and each one raises Trust by 35. Feeding three carrots is enough to push Trust to 100.

Once Trust reaches 100, choose Take In to adopt the Choppy as a companion. The Take In prompt is Triangle on PlayStation and Y on Xbox.
