Overview

The Calphade Siege Armory is a crafting facility used to produce weapons for the military. All weapons for the Calphadean army are manufactured here. Located in the southern reaches of the Calphade region, the armory is recognized for its efficient mass manufacturing capability rather than individual craftsmanship, enabling a consistent supply of arms to the garrison forces.

Location

The siege armory sits in the southern portion of the Calphade region, north of the main Hernand territory. It is one of several military installations surrounding Calphade Castle, alongside the Calphade Gunpowder Mill and Thalwynd village.

Role in Chapter 6

During the Cradle of Defense quest in Chapter 6, the siege armory is the first of three locations where players must raise a banner pike to reclaim the southern reaches of Calphade. After planting the banner, players fight off waves of Black Bears soldiers and grappler-type enemies before moving on to the gunpowder mill and Thalwynd.

Tips

• This is the first banner pike location in the Cradle of Defense quest, so it is a good warm-up for the more challenging encounters at the gunpowder mill and Thalwynd.

• Use area-of-effect abilities to handle the waves of enemies that appear after raising the banner.
