Overview

Buckwheat is a cooking ingredient in Crimson Desert classified under the Grains category of gatherables. Despite its name, Buckwheat is not actually a wheat variety. It features thick, grayish brown kernels with a subtle aroma and mild flavor, and it grows exclusively in the mountainous highlands of the Hernand region where the high altitude and cooler temperatures suit its cultivation.

Where to Find

• Grocer Vendors: Purchase Buckwheat from grocery merchants. Shops in the Hernand highlands stock it most frequently since it is a locally grown crop.

• Farming: Buckwheat can potentially be cultivated at the Greymane Camp farm. Its preference for cooler, elevated terrain makes it a unique highland crop.

Buckwheat's exclusive mountain cultivation means it is less widely distributed than Wheat or Barley. Grocers outside Hernand may carry limited stock.

Cooking Uses
