Aerial Grapple is the capstone skill of Damiane's Grappling progression. When an enemy is airborne (whether launched by another attack or jumping), Damiane performs an uppercut that catches the enemy mid-air and slams them back into the ground. The slam deals significant impact damage and leaves the target briefly incapacitated.
Unlocking Aerial Grapple requires leveling the Grappling parent skill all the way to Level 5. This means players must first unlock Throw, Restrain, Lariat, Screwdriver, and Back Hang before Aerial Grapple becomes available. The skill costs 60 Stamina per use.
Launch enemies into the air first using Low Dropkick or other launcher attacks, then follow up with Aerial Grapple for a devastating combo.
At 60 Stamina, this is one of Damiane's more expensive grappling moves. Use it as a finisher rather than an opener.
The slam impact can affect nearby enemies standing close to where the target lands.
Aerial Grapple is particularly effective against human-sized enemies. Larger bosses may resist the grab.
Practice using Aerial Grapple against weaker enemies before relying on it in boss fights.
Keep an eye on your Stamina bar when using this skill repeatedly.
