Add final-link role in aerial chain and Abyss Nexus skip usage
Aerial Grapple is a grappling skill in Crimson Desert, exclusive to Damiane. It belongs to the Stamina (Blue) branch of the skill tree.

Cost | 60 Stamina |
Input | X + Square after Uppercut |
How to Unlock | Grappling Lv 5 |
Prerequisites | Grappling Lv 5 |
Press X + Square after performing an Uppercut to slam an airborne enemy into the ground. This follow-up grapple catches enemies launched by Uppercut and drives them downward for heavy impact damage.
Aerial Grapple sits at the top of Damiane's grappling tree, requiring Level 5 investment. The combo of Uppercut into Aerial Grapple is one of Damiane's most damaging two-hit sequences. Practice the timing between the Uppercut launch and the grapple input to land it consistently.
Aerial Grapple is the finisher of the aerial movement chain that players use to scale mountains and skip platforming sections in the late-game traversal content. It comes into play at the very end of the sequence, after every other airborne input has carried you as far as it can.
A typical scale starts with a jump, cycles Force Palm and Aerial Stab to build vertical height, then transitions into Glide once the repeatable height gain runs out. From the glide, activate Aerial Grapple. The grapple snaps you onto a nearby target such as a rock face, a tree, or a ledge feature, and a well-timed jump off the grapple launches you up onto the surface above. Without this final step, the preceding Force Palm and Aerial Stab loop would simply drop you back down once stamina runs out, so Aerial Grapple is what actually commits the climb.
In tandem with Aerial Stab the Aerial Grapple pairing is the main reason the full chain can be used to skip platforming sections inside the Abyss Nexus. When a particular jump puzzle is refusing to resolve, build height with the Force Palm and Aerial Stab loop, transition into a glide toward the next platform, then Aerial Grapple onto anything that will take the hook and jump-launch onto the target ledge. The combo bypasses the intended platforming flow entirely and is the community standard workaround for Abyss Nexus sections that are fighting you.
