Bringer

Bringer is an unreleased narrative driven fantasy action RPG in development at the Chinese studio YHKT (艺画开天, simplified Chinese). It is the studio's first game. The title is written 凡应 in simplified Chinese for Mainland China and 凡應 in traditional Chinese on the game's overseas surfaces, ブリンガ in Japanese and 브링거 in Korean, while the logo wordmark reads BRINGER, in the singular, in every region.
The game is set on Thalassa (淨海 in traditional Chinese, 净海 in simplified Chinese), a vast sea formed of white solid particles that flows endlessly from north to south and leaves the land beneath it fleeting. Humanity survives on the backs of colossal living creatures called Arkiloth (隆舶), migrating without pause under an ancient prophecy rendered in English as "Fall Behind, and Fall Away". The player takes the role of a traveler carrying a hidden secret, addressed throughout official material as a Thalastrider (海履者).
Bringer runs on Unreal Engine 5 and is announced for PC, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android. As of 21 September 2026 no release date or launch window has been announced in any region, no business model has been stated, and no publisher has been named for the overseas release. In Mainland China the game is published by 澄境星壹 (simplified Chinese), a subsidiary of the developer, which makes the Mainland release a self publishing arrangement.
Although its international presentation only began in August 2026, Bringer is not a new project. It was first shown publicly in China on 5 August 2023, was substantially rebuilt between that showing and a second reveal in October 2025, has since run two closed tests, the second ending on 4 September 2026, and has appeared in playable form at two public events. See Announcement History and Closed Tests and Public Demos for the full record.

Premise
The studio's own announcement overview describes Bringer as "a 3D action RPG built around an expansive, story-driven fantasy adventure" and says that "Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the game combines cinematic direction, expressive character performances, and meaningful player agency to deliver storytelling that extends beyond traditional pre-rendered cutscenes."

The world is defined by two things: Thalassa, and the colossal creatures that carry people across it. Official copy states that "Humanity can only survive upon the backs of colossal creatures known as Arkiloth", and that under the prophecy of "Fall Behind, and Fall Away" they "continue their endless migration across the flowing sea". The player enters this world as "a traveler harboring a hidden secret", and the overview says that players "will navigate competing factions and ancient mysteries, gradually uncovering the truths buried deep within the world". The factions are named only on the official Mainland site, in simplified Chinese; see Regions and Factions. The full treatment of the world and its themes is in Setting and Story.
Gameplay
What the studio itself has confirmed about how Bringer plays comes from a paragraph of announcement copy, the official channel descriptions, and a short series of system notes on its Mainland community account covering toughness and finishers, the crystal power of the 凡星, the armed 海巡兽 and the player's own 隆舶 home. Combat is fast paced and party based, with real time switching between party members, "different weapon modules", and parries, dodges and finishers. Story sequences, exploration stages and combat encounters are described as tightly integrated rather than separated. Official material also tells players to command a variety of Bio-Cruisers, written 海巡獸 in the traditional Chinese and バイオクルーザー in the Japanese channel descriptions; the term is never defined and no official source says whether these are the Arkiloth. The Combat page collects the confirmed surface in full, along with what has not been shown.
Development and Release Status
Bringer is being made by 墨界游戏, a development subsidiary of YHKT, on Unreal Engine 5. The project changed substantially between its 2023 debut and its 2025 re presentation, including a revision of its own in world terminology. Nothing about the game is a shipped feature: every claim on this wiki traces to trailers, marketing copy, announcement material or hands on demo showings. See Development for the production record and Release and Platforms for platform and availability detail.
Titles and Regional Editions
Bringer is run as two administratively distinct operations: a Mainland Chinese release under the simplified title 凡应, and a separate international presentation covering traditional Chinese, Japanese, English and Korean. Both are correct for their regions. The Titles, Languages and Regional Editions page carries the full glossary bridge across all five languages, the superseded 2023 terminology, and the romanizations that should not be used.
What Is Not Known
Bringer has a large amount of confirmed production history, a growing amount of confirmed world and character material in simplified Chinese, and very little confirmed content in English. As of 21 September 2026, checked across the official international concept site in all four of its languages, the Mainland official site and storefront listing, the official community and video channels, Western storefront search, the Chinese regulator's monthly approval lists for January 2023 through August 2026, and all reachable coverage:
Eight characters are named and described on the official Mainland site, in simplified Chinese with Latin name plates; see Characters. Three more names appear in the EP02 test notice and the Cologne demo. The key art shows five figures and none of them is matched to a name.
No faction, region or settlement is described in English. The official Mainland site names four regions, including the cities 达卡斯 and 岩山城 and the village 蛋波, and five groups, including 圣宫 and 万乘国, which have been at war for a century; see Regions and Factions.
No release date or window exists for any platform or region.
No business model has been stated for any region. Business model labels applied to the game in outside commentary are inference, not studio statements.
No overseas publisher has been announced. The only attested publisher is the Mainland one.
No Western storefront listing exists.
No Chinese publishing licence appears in the Chinese regulator monthly approval lists, which means no paid Mainland commercial launch can have taken place.
No gameplay footage appears in any official video on the four official channels. The single video on each is the reveal trailer, a cinematic with no interface and no on screen text. The Mainland channel's EP02 promotional video of 6 August 2026 is the exception: the studio captions it as recorded in game. The EP02 test notice and hands on coverage of the Cologne demo are the only descriptions of the game being played; see Combat.
