Bringer has eight named characters on its official Mainland site, each with a Chinese name, a Latin name plate, an element badge, a voice line and a short description. This page records all eight, the three further characters and one creature companion introduced in the studio's own community post series, and the handful of names that appear elsewhere in the record. The official Mainland site carries a 角色 (characters) section and a 设定 (setting) section whose text is simplified Chinese with no English localisation beyond a Latin name plate per character. English wording below is this wiki's translation of that official text and is marked as such; the Chinese is quoted verbatim. The section carries the studio's own disclaimer, 开发中内容，请以游戏中最终效果为准, content in development, defer to the final game.
The English forms on this page are the Latin name plates the site itself displays. They are the only official Latin spellings; nothing states how the names will be localised in an English release, and no English description exists for any character as of 21 September 2026. Two of the eight, 逻华 and the Thalastrider, are the only characters attested outside the site: 逻华 sends the daily gift mail in the EP02 test and appears as Luohua in the Cologne demo.

The element badges use five labels across the eight characters: 风, 火, 雷, 光 and 暗, that is wind, fire, lightning, light and dark. The site does not explain what an element does, and no official English names for the elements exist. Three characters belong to the same group, the 汐奈海乱团, a crew named after its leader; two live in the village of 蛋波; one serves 万乘国; one works out of 达卡斯. Characters Introduced in the Post Series
The studio's official community account has run three post series since October 2025: 狭间旅遇 (character introductions), 海履图鉴 and 净海探秘 (world entries) and 履海知途 (system notes). All are simplified Chinese; English renderings below are this wiki's translations. The 狭间旅遇 series covers seven of the eight roster characters and three who are not on the site roster. One 2025 post also settles what a 凡星 is: it announces an in game story clip as featuring 凡星【蕾娜】, so 凡星 is the game's own word for a playable character.

The same series adds detail to roster characters. 蕾娜's 2025 post says she works as a sea guide to support her parents and to earn stable residence rights in 达卡斯, and that she has just landed a big job. 珂林's 2025 post has him searching for 隆舶茧, cocoons of the great creatures, to find a future for the people of 蛋波. 莉莉娅's 2025 post calls her the 虫医, the insect doctor, of 蛋波, with the rule 「虫医守则之七：平衡为纲，药效为辅」, balance first and potency second, and says she works to heal a sick 隆舶 rather than a sick person. 逻华's 2025 quote was 「在皇女的利刃下……消散吧！」, and her August 2026 post makes her a captain of the guard in the 万乘帝国 military's fifth sequence, born to the 逻 family of generals whose duty for generations has been to protect the imperial house; the princess pulled her from an abyss with her own hands and gave her a new loyalty, and she is now the sharpest thunderbolt in the princess's hand.
Thalastrider (海履者)
The player character, badged 风. The site's description, translated: when the waves of the pure sea carry him back to where it all began, the storm wind of the wish will rise again. He is fated to step into the current of the age, to wake the silent 凡应 and to gather again the scattered 凡星. The Thalastrider's journey has only just begun. The original reads 当净海的浪涛将他带回最初的起点，愿心的洪风将再次激荡。他注定踏入时代洪流，唤醒沉寂的凡应，重聚遗落的凡星。属于海履者的旅程，刚刚开始。 The site uses the male pronoun 他 for him throughout, and the August 2026 character post calls him 冲破界域归来的少年, a youth who broke back through the boundary of the world. That post gives the fullest account so far: he is the one who returned from the end of the 界域 to reshape the pure sea, carried by its waves back to where it all began; he lost everything, and one wish was left to him, to return to the pure sea and end the fate of the endless flow. The original reads 自界域尽头归来，重塑净海的破局之人。冲破界域归来的少年，随净海浪涛回到最初的起点。他失去了一切，唯有一个愿心被留了下来，重返净海，终结奔流的宿命。 The phrase 重聚遗落的凡星 uses 凡星 as an in world noun for something scattered that must be gathered, which matches the EP02 test's use of 凡星 as the label for star rated characters. The Thalastrider page covers the term, the party and the superseded 2023 vocabulary.
蕾娜 (LENNE)
Badged 火. Translated: a somewhat famous gold rated sea guide of 达卡斯, who claims to know every trench of 月洲 like the back of her hand. She has guided 海巡兽 through countless dangerous passages and lives up to her gold rating: however perilous the road ahead, she arrives safely. The original reads 达卡斯小有名气的金牌海引，自称对月洲的每一条海沟都了若指掌，引导海巡兽穿过无数险路，不负金牌海引之名，哪怕前路再凶险，也能平安到达。 This is the first official sentence that puts a person at the controls of a 海巡兽, the creature the English channels call a Bio-Cruiser. 逻华 (LUO HUA)
Badged 雷. Translated: captain of the guard under the fifth sequence commanding princess of 万乘国, a title grand enough to inspire awe, though her martial skill, tempered a thousand times over, frightens people more. The original reads 万乘国第五序列总司皇女麾下的禁卫长，华丽的头衔足以令人敬畏。但相比之下，她千锤百炼的武艺，更让人闻风丧胆。 During the EP02 test a daily gift mail called 逻华的声援赠礼 was sent in her name, and in the Cologne demo a character displayed as Luohua joined the party in the second phase of the boss fight and left in the third. 珂林 (COLYN)
Badged 火. Translated: an elite tide scout of the 隆舶 named 蛋波 in the 月洲 region, a bold and driven young man. To protect his village and his younger sister he spares no effort in securing supplies and opening routes. Tide scouts die first, and he is willing to always be the one in front. The original reads 月洲地区隆舶“蛋波”的精锐探潮人，果敢有冲劲的热血青年。为守护村子与妹妹，他不遗余力地争取物资、开辟航路。“探潮人先死”，他愿意永远冲在众人的身前。
莉莉娅 (LILYA)
Badged 光. Translated: the keeper of coexistence of the 隆舶 named 蛋波 in 月洲, a girl next door with the manner of a fawn in the woods. She prefers the company of the creatures that live on the 隆舶 to that of people, and to save a sick life she will do everything she can to find a cure. The original reads 月洲隆舶“蛋波”的共生倌，如林间小鹿般的邻家少女。比起人类，更热衷与隆舶上的生物共处。若是为了拯救患病的生命，她必定竭尽所能，探究治疗之道。
汐奈 (SHIINA)
Badged 光. Translated: the boss of the 汐奈海乱团. A small frame carrying a greatsword out of all proportion to it, she leads her companions across the waves with fearless spirit. The word retreat is not in her dictionary; whatever storm or wave stands in front of her, she is always the first to draw and charge. To follow her wake is to sail toward the most brilliant and the freest horizon. The original reads 汐奈海乱团的老大。娇小的身躯扛着与体型不符的巨剑，以无畏的气魄率领伙伴纵横浪涛。她的字典里没有“退缩”二字，无论面前是怎样的狂风巨浪，她永远第一个拔刀冲锋。追随她的航迹，便是驶向最绚烂、也最自由的远方。
拾三 (THANE)
Badged 暗. Translated: the strategist of the 汐奈海乱团, a sly young man who is always smiling with narrowed eyes. Beneath his breezy manner lies a cool head whose plans never miss. He is used to clearing obstacles for his companions from behind the scenes and to folding every accident into the plan; but if anyone dares harm the people he protects, a chilling edge shows through the easy mask. The original reads 汐奈海乱团的军师，总是眯着眼微笑的狡黠青年。云淡风轻的举止之下，藏着算无遗策的冷静头脑。他习惯在幕后为同伴扫清障碍，将一切意外都纳入计划的一环。但若有人胆敢伤害他守护的人，那副从容的面具之下，终会露出令人胆寒的锋芒。
铠 (KAYA)
Badged 暗. Translated: the boldest warrior of the 汐奈海乱团 and her companions' most reliable heavy fist. Storm or blade, she is always the last to fall; in the wild sands of 月洲 she built an impassable line with her own body. Off the battlefield she is the warm harbour everyone most wants to be near. The original reads 汐奈海乱团中最豪迈的战士，伙伴们最可靠的重拳。无论风暴还是刀锋，她永远是最后倒下的那个人。在月洲的狂沙中，她用血肉之躯筑起了一道不可逾越的防线。而战场外，她也是所有人最愿意靠近的温暖港湾。

The site's hidden text field spells three names differently from the visible name plates: 雷娜 for 蕾娜, 罗华 for 逻华 and 柯林 for 珂林. The EP02 notice writes 逻华, agreeing with the plate, so the plates are treated here as the designed spellings and the text field as an inconsistency on the studio's own site.
What Is Not Known
Which of the five key art figures is which character. The plates are portraits, but nothing maps them to the lineup.
Any character's role in combat, weapon, kit or star rating other than the two 5★ grants in the EP02 notice.
What the five elements do.
Whether 绯云 or Nyx are party members, story characters or both; 明泫 is a 5★凡星 and therefore playable in the test build.
