Revision - squarrel - Aniimo Wiki

Squarrel is No. 047 in the Aniimo index, a Fire creature that fights in the BREAK role. It has a large, fist-shaped tail, and the greasy fur on that tail can burst into flames from the slightest rub. Anyone who eyes its stockpiled pinecones gets a taste of the scorching fire fists that follow.

Squarrel is one of the entries that appeared when the official index was rebuilt for the September 16, 2026 launch build, so it has no closed beta record. Wild Aniimo are taken with Aniipods, and once caught this one can be raised, sent into battle, kept at The Homeland, or traded to another player. It heads a two-entry line with Squashel, and only its Basic Form has been published.

Base Stats

The index publishes six base values for every Aniimo plus an Attributes total that adds them together. ATK drives damage, BREAK is what wears down an enemy's guard, P.DEF and M.DEF cover the two damage types, and REGEN governs how quickly resources come back. These are base figures and balance changes can move them. Squarrel leans hard into its role: BREAK is its highest value by a wide margin and HP is its lowest.

Stat	Value
Attributes (total)	455
HP	53
ATK	80
BREAK	94
P.DEF	79
M.DEF	72
REGEN	77

Evolution

Squarrel is the base form of a two-entry line and grows into Squashel. The index names the growth stages Lumin, Gamma and Nova. It publishes no trigger for the change: as of September 17, 2026 the condition field is empty on every node of every line in the index, so how the evolution is reached is unknown. The full set of lines is on Evolution Lines.

Forms

Only the Basic Form has been published for Squarrel. No environment, weather or Prismana Form variant appears for it in the index as of September 17, 2026.

Where To Find It

Squarrel is listed in one habitat. Which creatures actually appear also depends on weather, time of day, and local phenomena, so a listed habitat is where to look rather than a guarantee.

Habitat
Blitzwood

Trait

Every Aniimo carries a passive Trait that is always active while it fights alongside a Pathfinder. Squarrel shares its Trait with Squashel.

Trait	Effect
Raging Fire	After using a skill, the next basic attack used within 10s will directly release the final hit of the basic attack, and its Might is increased from 4 to 25.

Traversal

The index grades three traversal capabilities, Climb, Fly and Swim, from level 1 to level 3. A Pathfinder inherits them by Twining with the creature. No Mobility ability is published for Squarrel: that field is empty on its entry as of September 17, 2026, so the Climb grade below is all it brings to traversal.

Capability	Grade
Climb	Level 1

Skills

The index lists four combat skills and one innate skill for Squarrel. Two of the four combat entries were still untranslated on the English index when it was checked on September 17, 2026, so they are left out below rather than reproduced in a language the English index does not publish. Power is the skill's published damage figure and Cost is what it draws from the resource bar.

Skill	Type	Power	Cost	Effect
Pinecone Bomb	Combat	38	15	Throws a flaming pinecone that bursts on impact, scattering an additional 3 pinecone fragments in all directions. Targets hit are inflicted with the [Pinecone] Mark.
Heavy Tail Strike	Combat	40	20	Throws a punch forward. If the target hit has a [Pinecone] Mark, consumes the Mark to deal 50% more damage, launch the target, and stun it for 2.5s.
ATK	Innate	6	0	Wields the power of fire to attack targets at close range.

The index also publishes a Resonance Training table on this entry. As of September 17, 2026 it lists the same two unlocks on every creature in the index, at character level 55 and level 65, each costing Omnisource Crystal.
