Popapus was catalogued as No. 090 in the Aniimo index, a Water creature that fights in the DPS role. It loves collecting colorful bubbles. They bob and sway inside its air sac as it moves, and when inspiration strikes, it uses them to doodle strange little wonders in the air.
Popapus does not appear in the official creature index published for the September 16, 2026 launch build, checked on September 17, 2026. The information below is the beta-era record from the 2026 closed beta tests. The ten-species Whisperwake Isles water group is absent from the index as a whole, and nothing official explains it.
Wild Aniimo are taken with Aniipods, and during the beta tests this one could be raised once caught, sent into battle, kept at The Homeland, or traded to another player. It belongs to the Popapus line, which runs to 2 entries in total, with no alternate Form published so far.

Every Aniimo carries a passive Trait that is always active while it fights alongside a Pathfinder.

Gold bubbles have a 1% chance to appear, while each other color has a 33% chance to appear.
