"Social Media Influence" in Ananta is the in-fiction online ecosystem on the player's phone. The full gameplay layer that turns it into a tracked progression mechanic is documented on the Social Media Influence System page.
Quick Reference

Social media is woven into the broader city life of Nova City. Both the player character and NPCs maintain feeds. Official copy frames it as a "secret weapon" used alongside investigation and combat. Players can browse the in-game feed on their character's phone and examine NPC phones to read their messages and chat histories.
The platform itself is called Scope. The official Ananta site hosts a browsable Scope feed under the tagline "Turn Your Visions into Vibes", presented as the in-world app rather than as marketing copy. Posts are written in-character by Nova City residents, businesses, and public bodies, and several carry a verified badge.
The feed is a useful window on the setting because it names places and groups that appear nowhere else in public materials. Verified accounts include the NCCA and the Nova PM's Office, alongside businesses such as a gym, an ice-cream parlour, a livehouse, and a sportswear label. Ordinary residents post about Chaos incidents, traffic, gigs, and their jobs, which is the same ambient-storytelling effect the in-game feeds are described as producing.
Scope posts also show the metrics the system tracks in fiction: each carries a like count, a separate "hot" figure, and a comment count. No official material has yet connected those in-fiction numbers to a player-facing follower or influence stat.
