Platforms and System Requirements

Added the four storefront listings, PS5 Pro Enhanced, and the PlayStation online-play and player-count fields
ANANTA launches globally on January 15, 2027. The platform list below was confirmed with that announcement at Gamescom 2026.
Ananta has been confirmed for the following platforms:
Platform | Details |
|---|---|
PC | Two PC routes are confirmed: a dedicated client download and Steam, where the store page went live with the August 2026 release-date announcement. The Epic Games Store has not been confirmed. The CBT1 and TGS 2025 demo both used a standalone launcher. |
PlayStation 5 | Confirmed since the original Project Mugen reveal at Gamescom 2023. |
iOS | Mobile version confirmed. |
Android | Mobile version confirmed. |

Platform | Status |
|---|---|
PlayStation 4 | Some sources from the original announcement listed PS4 as a target platform. More recent materials have been inconsistent, with some dropping PS4 from the platform list. Its status is uncertain. |
Xbox | Xbox (Series X|S or otherwise) has not been confirmed. This is a notable omission given the game's scope and multiplatform ambitions. The official website includes an "and more..." placeholder, which some have interpreted as leaving the door open for future platform announcements. |
Nintendo Switch 2 | Not mentioned in any official communications. |
Four storefront listings existed as of early September 2026, all published by the same Singapore-registered NetEase entity. The Epic Games Store has no listing at all: a store search returns no results.
Storefront | What the listing says |
|---|---|
Steam | Release date field reads January 15, 2027, still flagged as coming soon. Categories are Single-player, DualShock and DualSense controller support, partial controller support, and Family Sharing. Processor and Graphics requirements are still marked as undetermined. |
PlayStation Store | A concept page rather than a product page. Status reads Announced, with "Release date to be determined". Flags: PS5 Pro Enhanced, in-game purchases optional, online play required, 1 online player, vibration function and trigger effect required, power saver supported. PlayStation 5 is named throughout; PlayStation 4 is not mentioned. |
App Store | Rated 12+, minimum iOS 12.0, download size about 1.35 GB, 127 supported devices, release date January 15, 2027. Advisories include a loot-box descriptor; see Cosmetic Monetization. |
Google Play | Content rating Teen, category Role Playing, last updated August 5, 2026. Interactive elements list mild violence, suggestive themes, language, users interact, and in-game purchases including random items. |
Two of these fields sit awkwardly together and are worth flagging rather than reconciling. The PlayStation page says online play is required and gives a player count of one, while the Steam listing carries only the Single-player category and no multiplayer or co-op tag at all. See Multiplayer for what has actually been said about playing with other people.
The PlayStation concept page is also the strongest first-party signal yet on the PlayStation 4 question below: the platform holder's own page names PlayStation 5 repeatedly and does not mention PlayStation 4 anywhere.
Cross-save and account linking across platforms have been promised by the developer. This means progress made on PC should carry over to mobile and console versions (and vice versa). The specific implementation details, such as whether cross-play (playing together across different platforms simultaneously) is also supported, have not been clarified.
Two sets of PC specifications have been shared: one from the TGS 2025 demo and one from the January 2026 Closed Beta Test. Both represent pre-release builds and may not reflect final optimization.

Minimum: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB, 16 GB RAM, Intel i5-9400F or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
Recommended: NVIDIA RTX 3080, 32 GB RAM, Intel i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
Component | Requirement |
|---|---|
RAM | 16 GB |
VRAM | 8 GB |
CPU | Intel i7-10700 |
GPU | NVIDIA RTX 3060 |
Storage | 60 GB SSD recommended |
The CBT1 specs appear to represent a practical minimum rather than a lowest-possible-settings floor. The TGS recommended specs (RTX 3080, 32 GB RAM) give a better picture of what hardware is needed to run the game at its intended visual quality, including ray-traced reflections.
The store listing published in August 2026 names sixteen supported languages, four of them with full voice audio.
Support level | Languages |
|---|---|
Text and full audio | English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean |
Text only | French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Russian, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Arabic |
Public PC specifications on the store listing are still marked as undetermined, so the CBT1 and TGS figures below remain the best available guide until the publisher posts final requirements.
Full install size has been reported at 233 to 250 GB at the largest configuration. A low-texture option can reduce the footprint to approximately 150 to 180 GB. These are the largest reported figures from early builds. Optimization before launch could reduce these numbers, but even the low-texture option is substantial.
The CBT1 build contained only a portion of the full game content, so the final install will be considerably larger than whatever the beta required.

Ananta supports NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, which runs on RTX 50 series GPUs, along with ray-traced reflections. An upgrade to DLSS 4.5 was announced on August 27, 2026, naming Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. That announcement is worded in the future tense and carries no date, so DLSS 4.5 is not yet shipped. The game runs on a heavily optimized version of the Unity engine. Whether AMD FSR or Intel XeSS upscaling alternatives will be supported has not been confirmed.
Specific mobile hardware requirements (minimum iOS version, Android chipset, RAM) have not been published. Given the PC specs and the game's visual fidelity, mobile versions will likely require recent flagship or high-end mid-range devices. Whether the mobile version will feature reduced visual settings, smaller initial downloads, or asset streaming is unknown.
