The weapon choice is unusual even by Ananta standards, where the broader roster has already leaned into hammers, paintball miniguns, and remote-control spider drones.

Within the 4-character party system that Ananta has demonstrated publicly, each member fills a different combat niche. Alan's yo-yos and ice effects align with a ranged controller role, good at chaining hits at mid distance and layering slow or freeze-flavored effects on top of the team's burst damage. All main characters in Ananta are confirmed to be Esperspeople with supernatural abilities, which lines up with his ice-flavored yo-yo moveset. His specific relationships with confirmed CBT1 characters such as CaptainTaffyRichieand Seymour have not been detailed.

Alan is drawn as a handsome blond man with a relaxed, approachable look, which suits the social-butterfly framing.
