Aspects, the in-game name for the four elements of Alabaster Dawn. Each Aspect powers up Divine weapons, gates Divine Arts, and interacts with puzzle entities. Physis and Aether are unlockable in the launch build; Ignis and Cryo appear only briefly.
Aspects are the in-game name for the four elements of Alabaster Dawn. The two terms are used interchangeably in dialogue and menus, with "Aspect" appearing more in UI labels and "element" appearing more in casual conversation. Each Aspect is represented by its own glyph, can be channeled through Juno's Divine weapons, and gates a unique pair of Divine Arts.
The Four Aspects
All four Aspects exist in the world, but only two are unlockable in the launch build. The other two are seen briefly during the prologue.

Physis
Plants and rocks
Default Aspect at the start of Chapter 1. Basic attacks under Physis have no elemental effect, and Physis is described as the most generic of the four.
Aether
Lightning and ambient divine energy
Granted by Libra during the Trial of Aether. Many Aether-using Nuemera are also weak to Aether.
Ignis
Fire
Seen only in the prologue, where Dahmon and Nima use a combined Ignis/Cryo team attack against the Prologue Spider. Not unlockable yet.
Cryo
Ice
Seen only in the prologue alongside Ignis. Not unlockable yet. The glyphs for Ignis and Cryo are not visible in-game, and may be subject to change.
Switching Aspects
Once Juno has more than one Aspect unlocked, she can switch between them on the fly. The active Aspect powers up the equipped Divine weapons, changing the type of damage they deal and altering how they interact with certain puzzle entities. Each Aspect has its own set of Divine Arts, each of which can only be used while that Aspect is active.
Aspect Panels
Some environmental puzzles introduce Aspect Panels, tile-shaped switches that convert any active attack to a specific Aspect when Juno stands on them. The launch build includes Aether Aspect Panels, which appear inside the Trial of Aether. These panels let Juno apply Aether damage even while Physis is her active Aspect, which is the main puzzle mechanic of the dungeon's Aether unlock.
