Ultimate Berk (완성체 베르크) is the final boss of Krao Cave, one of the Expedition dungeons open since the Korean and Taiwanese service launched on November 19, 2025. He is fought in Exploration, Conquest Normal and, since December 17, 2025, Conquest Hard. Everything here describes the Korean and Taiwanese service; NCsoft's global notices had not listed the Expeditions open in the global build as of October 7, 2026.

Mechanics

Berk swings in wide arcs, and the space behind him is safe from them. A swing often leads straight into a whirlwind: red dust swirls around him, then he spins and chases a random player, landing many hits in a row; blocking or invulnerability does not save a player who stays in it, so the cue is to run. He also lunges forward twice in a line, catching players who move back into his path after the first lunge.

His signature attack is Wave of Fury (격노의 파동). Berk drops from the air, calls on the party to vanish before him, and glowing rocks rise around the room. Anyone not hidden behind a rock when the wave goes off is killed. At half health his stagger gauge unlocks, and the party has only a short window to empty it with high-stagger skills, saved for this moment, before an arena-wide wipe.

Hard

On Hard Berk summons totems that fire lasers, around 70% and 30% of his health according to player reports, and only one of the rocks that rise for Wave of Fury is real: it glows, and the others crumble before the wave. Players find the glowing rock as he lands in the centre and move to it together.
