11 The Pendant (펜던트) is an accessory slot added to the Korean and Taiwanese service of AION 2 with Chapter 1 on July 1, 2026. There is one Pendant line, the Draconic Pendant (드라코닉 펜던트; provisional English name, since the global client data has no Pendant items yet), and it grows by enhancement and grade conversion. The guidebook says Pendants give HP, Additional Attack, Additional Defense and similar effects. Data below comes from the official item database and probability tables, checked on October 7, 2026.

66 Rare and Epic pendants, and the materials to enhance them, come from quests in Eltnen and Morheim (July 1, 2026 patch notes). The Rare pendant's item source is a quest.Rare and Epic pendants enhance to +10, each step costing Kina and one Balaur's Essence of the matching strength: Hazy Balaur's Essence for Rare and Faint Balaur's Essence for Epic. Every step succeeds. After ten enhancements a pendant can be raised to the next grade through material conversion, according to its description. The Unique pendant enhances to +20 with Kina, Balaur's Essence, and from +11 Radiant Balaur's Essence and Amplify Stones (Unique). The chances fall steeply and each failure adds a few percent to the next attempt.

1111 Balaur's Essence and Radiant Balaur's Essence are the global client's names for 용족의 정수 and 찬란한 용족의 정수. Chapter 1 merged the old horn, hide and scale Draconic drops of Expeditions and Sanctuaries into these two essences, which also convert into the Draconic crafting materials; see Material Conversion.

13+Stats by Enhancement Level
14+
15+The official item database lists only HP, Critical Hit and Critical Resistance as a pendant's base stats, but the guidebook says Pendants also give Additional Attack and Additional Defense, and Korean community stat tables compiled after Chapter 1 list those at every level. The figures below come from those community tables (Korean service), so treat them as player-compiled rather than official. Each enhancement adds 10 HP, 5 Additional Attack and 50 Additional Defense; on the Unique pendant, Critical Hit equals ten times the enhancement level from +3 and Critical Resistance from +6, Perfect Chance appears at +10, Double Chance at +14 and Combat Speed at +18.

18+Because chances fall to single digits after +13 while Kina costs double at +16, the last few levels are by far the most expensive part of pendant progression, and the Double Chance and Combat Speed only arrive there. The global client data has no Pendant items yet.
