Dying Dramata's Nest is an Expedition dungeon in AION 2 and the first new Expedition of Season 2. It opened on the Korean and Taiwanese service on January 21, 2026 with an Exploration version and Conquest Normal, and NCsoft placed it in Tier 4 of the Expedition ladder in its May 2026 announcement. The Korean name is 죽은 드라마타의 둥지.

As of October 7, 2026, NCsoft's global notices have not listed which Expedition dungeons are open in the global build that launched on October 5, 2026; they say that all instanced content, including dungeons, is available cross-server. Everything on this page describes the Korean and Taiwanese service unless it says otherwise.

The item levels are those of the current game data and of a June 2026 player-compiled table; release-day write-ups listed 3,000 for both modes. Exploration has cost 40 Odyle Energy since April 8, 2026. Three days after launch NCsoft made Exploration and Conquest Normal easier, and on February 25 it returned half of the tickets and Odyle Energy spent on the nest between January 21 and 24.
Route
The run starts with a drop into water. White orbs underwater speed the party up and yellow orbs restore breath, so each player takes one or two and leaves the rest for the group. On land, the path to the first boss is thick with monsters. Past the second boss, the Kisk at the Dramata valley triggers a cutscene in which Dramata lays two poison fields that the party has to cross, and a second underwater stretch with knockback steam vents leads to the final boss. NCsoft raised the height at which falls in the boss areas count as fatal on August 19, 2026.

Shining Ode, dropped by its bosses from February 11, has a better chance than a regular Ode extraction of giving high-purity Ode.

Bosses
Order | Boss | Korean name | Key mechanics |
|---|---|---|---|
First | Broodkeeper Nayatman | 부화의 나야트만 | Spear throws with expanding rings, homing orbs and the Red Blood, Blue Shell tether |
Second | Manager Nasium | 관리자 나지움 | Tracking blades that must be broken on the stone pillars; a poison spear that leaves a damaging zone |
Final | 부패한 두르바티 | Rain of Poison aimed at eggs, a roar that fears distant players, Venom Swamp escaped on high rocks, hatching eggs at low health |
The English boss names are the game client's English data and are not yet used in an English NCsoft announcement. The order above follows the route; write-ups agree that Nayatman is the first boss and Nasium the second.
Boss Mechanics
Broodkeeper Nayatman
Nayatman opens by throwing a spear that sticks in the ground and sends out rings of damage from the spear outwards; players either stay outside or step into the middle once the inner ring has burst. Below half health it can throw two or three spears at once, and moving well away is safer than threading the overlaps. It also releases slow white orbs that follow players and explode, and electric patches that form towards its target. With the words Red Blood, Blue Shell it tethers two players: standing together hurts, so they first move apart to break the tether, which gives each a red or blue shield, and then come back together before the timer runs out or a lightning strike stuns them. NCsoft reworked this skill on February 11, 2026 so that it no longer overlaps the exploding spear.
Manager Nasium
Nasium's poisoned spear leaves a zone of heavy damage where it lands, and his attacks around himself expand outwards in up to four steps. His key mechanic is a set of tracking blades, announced with a line about unstoppable blades grinding the party down: every player is chased by a blade that disappears when it hits one of the stone pillars at the edges of the arena or after enough time passes. He uses it often, so players keep enough movement resource in reserve. Since February 4, 2026 his spinning blades vanish while he is staggered.
Decaying Durvati
Durvati is a large beast who tail-swipes, headbutts and breathes, and has a crushing double stomp followed by a tail slam. With Rain of Poison she marks every player, and four poison strikes fall on each; the party aims them at the small eggs (one hit each) and large eggs (three hits each) around the arena. A roar follows that fears anyone not standing close to her. With Venom Swamp a four-second timer appears and the only escape from the poison breath is to climb onto the high rocks. At about 30% health the surviving eggs hatch: hatchlings from small eggs smash the rocks, and those from large eggs attack players, which is why breaking eggs earlier matters. See Decaying Durvati.
