Initial version (2026-10-06)
Askran (아스크란) is the final boss of Noiran's Hidden Legacy, a four-stage Transcendence dungeon added to the Korean and Taiwanese service on August 12, 2026 with Chapter 1. Lands of Sand and Snow. The official Chapter 1 site names Askran as the dungeon's headline boss. The laboratory belonged to the research group Kreion, founded by the Lepharist Noiran, where radicals kept experimenting on living beings after Noiran sealed it. The dungeon has not been announced for the global service as of October 7, 2026.
Community strategy guides on the Korean service describe these patterns:
Pattern | How it works |
|---|---|
Stack or spread | An arrow on each player's circle points inward (stack) or outward (spread), with matching voice cues |
Rotating volley | Askran moves to a corner and sweeps a rotating fan of lasers across the room |
Petrification | Before a wipe attack, players stand in a placed object that petrifies them and makes them invulnerable |
Incineration (소각) | At half health Askran burns the left and right of the arena in turn; the tank remembers the sides |
Bombs | In the last phase coloured objects appear and ropes of the same colour close in; players take their colour, body-block the matching rope to get a bomb and throw it at Askran until the boss is staggered. Failure wipes the party. Guides disagree on the number of bombs needed |
Players also drop their personal circles at the edge of the arena, apart from each other.
On August 19, 2026 the Korean service stopped one of Askran's attacks damaging petrified players and made its rotating laser hurt players who block it with Evasion Stance or a shield or weapon block. A statue of Askran is among the dungeon's rewards, according to community reports.
