The Terror Tank is the unit the studio leads with when it describes the Legion of Truth: a mobile fortress that reconfigures with the tide of battle. In the current build that means a Tier 3 Massive ground vehicle with 1,000 health, Heavy armour, a status resist of 70 and four turret slots, assembled in the field by a Legion Build Drone for 200 hexite, 200 flux and 15 supply. Its main gun already deals 38 damage with +50% against Heavy armour before a single turret is bolted on.
Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build, the one carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with the weekly patch cadence. Roughly half the versus roster had a stat touched in the fortnight before that build was captured, so treat every number here as dated rather than permanent.
Stat Block
Stat | Value |
|---|---|
Cost | 200 hexite and 200 flux |
Health | 1,000 |
Shields | 0 |
Armor | 1 |
Armor type | Heavy |
Status resist | 70 |
Move speed | 400 |
Vision | 16 |
Supply | 15 |
Build time | 90 seconds |
Tier | 3 |
Domain | Ground unit |
Tags | Massive |
Turret slots | 4 |
Infuse cost | 50 |
Reanimate cost | 22.5 |
Replicate cost | 30 |
Built by | |
Unlocked by | Terror Tower |
The three conversion prices are further apart on this unit than on anything else in the Legion roster: 50 power to Infuse, 22.5 to Reanimate, 30 to Replicate. Infuse costs more than twice what Reanimate does.
Weapons
Weapon | Damage | DPS | Range | Cooldown | Targets | Bonuses |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Truthbringer Turret | 38 | 42 | 12 | 0.9s | Ground and air | +50% against Heavy armour, for 57 a shot |
Flame Turret Attack | 25 | 13 | 11 | 2s | Ground | +50% against Light armour. 100% splash over 1.2 range. Requires the Flame Turret |
Gatling Gun Attack | 11 | 22 | 15 | 0.5s | Ground | None listed. Requires the Gatling Gun |
Forty two damage a second on the main gun is the highest sustained figure in the Legion roster, and it hits air as well as ground, which separates the Terror Tank from the Mammoth at the same 400 move speed.
Abilities
None. Everything the Terror Tank does beyond its main gun comes from installed turrets rather than from an activated ability.
Turrets
Four turrets can be installed, and the same type can be fitted more than once for a stacking effect. Each costs 100 flux, takes 20 seconds, and adds a 225 health component to the vehicle.
Turret | Cost | Build time | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
Flame Turret | 100 flux | 20 seconds | Adds a flame turret that attacks nearby ground targets. Passive: the main gun deals 35 damage in a small radius, and more turrets increase the splash radius. |
Gatling Gun | 100 flux | 20 seconds | Adds a gatling turret described as dealing bonus damage against air. |
Pulseforge Accelerator | 100 flux | 20 seconds | Passive: boosts the Monolith Turret with +25% attack speed and +1 range. The effect stacks from more turrets. |
Shield Generator | 100 flux | 20 seconds | Nearby friendly units in combat gain 75 shields for eight seconds. |
Two of those four descriptions contradict the weapon table above them, and both contradictions are in the source rather than introduced here. The Gatling Gun is described as dealing bonus damage against air, while the Gatling Gun Attack it unlocks targets ground only and lists no bonus at all. The Pulseforge Accelerator is described as boosting the Monolith Turret, a name that appears nowhere else on this unit, whose main gun is the Truthbringer Turret. Both are recorded as published and neither is resolved by guessing.
Conversion Costs
Reanimate is the Legion conversion mechanic, paid out of the same top bar power pool as the Grell Infuse and the Xol Replicate. While the unit lives it attacks and moves 30% faster. When it dies it gets back up, 30% slower than the original, and keeps fighting.
The Terror Tank is eligible for all three at three different prices. Reanimate at 22.5 is much the cheapest, which suits the unit: a second 1,000 health body with its turrets still fitted, moving and firing 30% slower, is a lot of value for a fifth of what infusing the same tank would cost a Grell ally.
Role
The Terror Tank is the Legion answer to a fight that has stopped moving. Forty two damage a second at range 12 against both domains, rising to 57 a shot against Heavy armour, is the highest sustained output the faction fields, and 1,000 health with a status resist of 70 means it stays in the fight while it delivers it.
The turret slots are where the unit configures. A Flame Turret gives the main gun splash and adds an anti Light weapon with area damage, which is the answer to the cheap infantry every faction opens with. Two or three of them widen the splash radius further. A Gatling Gun adds range 15 sustained damage beyond the main gun reach. A Shield Generator turns the tank into support for the army around it, handing 75 shields to nearby friendly units in combat. A Pulseforge Accelerator stacks attack speed and range onto the main gun.
The cost is mobility. Four hundred move speed is the joint slowest in the faction, the vehicle has no ability to reposition, and at 15 supply and 90 seconds of build time a lost Terror Tank is a lost game state rather than a lost unit.
Faction Context
The Terror Tank and the Dreadnought are the two Legion units built by a drone in the field rather than produced from a structure. The Terror Tower unlocks both and boosts their construction speed by +100% when they are built nearby, which is a meaningful discount on a 90 second build.
The vehicle is also the faction signature. The official Legion page names it in its short description, calls it a mobile fortress that reconfigures mid battle, and puts it first among the four sample units.
Tier and Armour Interactions
Heavy armour with an armour value of 1, plus the Massive tag. Massive is a tag rather than an armour type, shared within the faction by the Dreadnought, the Emperor Projection and the Monolith structure. Armor is also a number held separately from the type. It subtracts flat damage from every hit with a floor of 1 damage, so it blunts fast weak attacks far more than single heavy ones. One point of armour on a 15 supply unit is thin, and the vehicle relies on its health pool rather than on mitigation.
Its own +50% keys off Heavy, so a Terror Tank is at its best against the enemy heavy units and at a flat 38 against everything Light, Medium, Building, Hero or None. The Flame Turret exists to patch exactly that hole, adding a +50% bonus against Light with splash.
Counters
Strong Against
Target | Why |
|---|---|
Heavy armoured units | +50% takes 38 damage to 57 a shot on a 0.9 second cycle. |
Air units | The main gun targets both domains, which few heavy ground units do. |
Light infantry, with a Flame Turret | +50% against Light with 100% splash over 1.2 range. |
Weak To
Threat | Why |
|---|---|
Bonuses against Heavy armour | A Dark Disciple deals +75% into Heavy from range 14, outranging the tank by two. |
Kiting | 400 move speed with no repositioning ability and a 12 range main gun. |
Massed cheap attackers | An armour value of 1 does very little against a swarm of small hits. |
Balance History
Date | Change |
|---|---|
Between the August 27 and September 11, 2026 data releases | The Pulseforge Accelerator range bonus was reduced from +2.5 to +1. No studio patch post names this change, so it is recorded here as a data change rather than as an announced one. |
Notes
The roster record for this unit is COMPLETE.
Two internal contradictions in the turret descriptions are named in the Turrets section above and are left unresolved deliberately: the Gatling Gun anti air claim, and the Monolith Turret reference on the Pulseforge Accelerator.
The unequal conversion prices are a real difference in the data. The roster note that all three conversion costs are equal on every unit in this build does not hold here, nor on the Dreadnought.
Per unit numbers are drawn from a community maintained entity catalogue that the studio links from each of its own faction pages. It is the only place the full stat block is published, and it is not a studio document, so the figures are best read as careful community documentation of a build rather than as an official specification. Dated balance notes, by contrast, come straight from the studio patch posts.
