Cha'Kru Chas'ki
September 11, 2026 at 10:43 PM
Removed repeated body wikilinks, keeping the first occurrence of each target
The Chas'ki is the Cha'Kru Kingdom ranged infantry unit, ordered three at a time from the Temple of Anqas. Mercenary groups are hired into a main faction army rather than played on their own, and the Cha'Kru are the only group that builds two separate structures, so which half of their roster you can recruit depends on which temple you put down. The Anqas half is the human half, and the Chas'ki is its basic shooter: cheap, fast out of combat, and able to hit air as well as ground.
Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build, the one carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with the weekly patch cadence. Roughly half the versus roster had a stat touched in the fortnight before that build was captured, so treat every number here as dated rather than permanent.

Armor type | Light |
Status resist | None published |
Move speed | 575, rising to 800 out of combat |

Infuse cost | 4.1665 |

Replicate cost | 4.1665 |
Built by | Temple of Anqas |

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Sacred Knives | 18 | 11 | 11 | 1.6s | Ground and air | +50 percent against Medium armour |
No activated ability is published. The out of combat speed increase is a passive property of the unit rather than a separate ability entry, and the two speeds are published as a pair: 575 while fighting, 800 while not.
No upgrades are published for this unit in this build. The group wide talents at faction levels 2, 4 and 6 apply to it as they do to every Cha'Kru unit, including Immortal Lineage, which revives units at 50 percent health when they are killed.
The Chas'ki is eligible for Infuse, Reanimate and Replicate at 4.1665 power each, which is the second cheapest conversion in the mercenary rosters and a direct consequence of the low per unit price. All three are paid from the top bar pool described on Resources and Economy.
Eleven damage per second is modest, and three supply per unit is not cheap, so the Chas'ki earns its place on flexibility rather than output. Hitting both domains from range 11 means a Cha'Kru army never has a hole against fliers, which matters for a group whose other Anqas units are melee or support. The Medium armour bonus raises 18 damage to 27, which is a real difference against the armour type that now carries every harvester and extractor in the game.
Out of combat move speed 800 is the highest number on the unit and the one that decides how it is played. A Chas'ki squad repositions faster than almost anything on the field as long as it is not shooting, which suits harassment and map control, and then drops to 575 the moment it engages. Light armour with a zero armour value means it takes everything in full, so those repositions are not optional.
Target | Why |
|---|---|
Harvesters and extractors | Both carry Medium armour since August 11, 2026, and the +50 percent bonus raises each hit from 18 to 27. |
Air units | Sacred Knives hits both domains, which few Tier 1 units do. |
Medium armoured ground units | The same bonus applies, so the unit is a natural answer to that whole armour class. |
Threat | Why |
|---|---|
Splash damage | 200 health, Light armour and an order that arrives in threes. |
Heavy armour | No bonus applies, so the weapon does its flat 18 a hit. |
Anything that closes | 575 in combat is unremarkable, and the 800 speed only applies when the unit is not fighting. |
July 24, 2026: move speed reduced from 625 in combat and 875 out of combat to 575 and 800.
July 30, 2026: the damage bonus changed from +100 percent against the harvester armour type to +50 percent against Medium armour. Damage itself stayed at 18.
August 19, 2026: included in the animation optimisation pass. No stat effect.
August 28, 2026: weapon range increased from 10 to 11.
The roster record for this unit is COMPLETE.
The harvester armour type that this unit bonus used to key off was deleted on August 11, 2026 and folded into Medium. The change to this weapon landed early, on July 30, ahead of the wider rework.
The engine name for this unit is a warrior rather than a Chas'ki, and some studio balance lines from July 2026 refer to it as the Cha'Kru Warrior. They are the same unit.
The apostrophe in the name is a straight quote in every published source for this build. Article slugs on this wiki strip it entirely.
Per unit numbers are drawn from a community maintained entity catalogue that the studio links from each of its own faction pages. It is the only place the full stat block is published, and it is not a studio document, so the figures are best read as careful community documentation of a build rather than as an official specification. Dated balance notes, by contrast, come straight from the studio patch posts.
