The Awoken Hollow is not a unit you hire. It is the form the Endari mercenary outpost, Silent Hollow, takes for the 30 seconds that the group's faction power keeps the map in night: the building lifts off, flies, gains a weapon, and keeps producing the entire Endari roster while it moves. The Endari are a mercenary group folded into a main faction army rather than played on their own, so an Awoken Hollow only exists in a match where they have been contracted. It was called The Deep One (Night Mode) until a rename landed in late August 2026, when the day form was renamed from The Deep One to Silent Hollow at the same time.
Figures below describe the September 2026 Early Access build, the one carrying the identifier ZS.c36778, and they move with the weekly patch cadence. This entity took a stat change and a rename in the five weeks before that build, so read the numbers as dated.
Stat Block
Stat | Value |
|---|---|
Cost | None of its own. The 125 hexite that buys Silent Hollow is the whole price; the night form is a transformation of a structure already paid for, not a separate purchase. |
Health | 2,000 |
Shields | 0 |
Armor | 1 |
Armor type | Building |
Status resist | None published for this form |
Move speed | 750 |
Vision | 16 |
Supply | None published for this form. The entity record carries no supply field, which is consistent with a structure rather than a trained unit. |
Build time | None. Mercenary units are hired at an outpost rather than constructed, so the game publishes no build time for them. |
Tier | 1 |
Domain | Flyer |
Duration | 30 seconds, or 60 with the level 6 Endari talent |
Infuse cost | Not eligible |
Reanimate cost | Not eligible |
Replicate cost | Not eligible |
Maximum owned | One. Silent Hollow is limited to a single copy, so there is never more than one Awoken Hollow. |
Produces | Shade, Needler, Wyrm, Devourer and Shadow Leech |
Weapons
Weapon | Damage | DPS | Range | Cooldown | Targets | Bonuses |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Tear Asunder | 48 | 51 | 1.75 | 0.942s | Ground only | No armour bonus. Splash covers a radius of 0.6 at full damage. The day form has no weapon at all. |
Abilities
The Awoken Hollow has no activated abilities of its own. It is itself the payload of one: The Veil Cracks, the Endari faction power, costs 25 faction power on a 120 second cooldown and is what brings the form into existence for 30 seconds. The same power gives every Endari unit 25 percent extra move speed, 25 percent extra attack speed and 20 percent shorter ability cooldowns while it lasts.
Upgrades
Upgrade | Tier | Cost | Effect | Researched at |
|---|---|---|---|---|
The Veil Shatters | Endari talent level 6 | No resource cost. It is the final Endari talent pick. | Doubles the duration of the night and doubles the Awoken Hollow's damage and health. Enemy vision is also cut by 20 percent while the night lasts. | The Endari talent track |
Conversion Costs
The Awoken Hollow is not eligible for Infuse, Reanimate or Replicate. Structures and their transformed forms sit outside the conversion system that hired units use, and the top bar power those conversions draw on is described on Resources and Economy.
Role
This is a production building that walks into the fight. During the day Silent Hollow is stationary and unarmed, and everything the Endari field comes out of it. For 30 seconds a night it becomes a 2,000 health flyer doing 51 damage a second at melee range, and it does not stop producing while airborne. An Endari player who calls the night can push with their outpost, keep reinforcing from inside the push, and pull it back out afterwards.
The damage is real but it is not the point. Range 1.75 means the Awoken Hollow has to be standing on what it kills, and a 2,000 health flyer sitting on top of an enemy army is a very large target. The value is positioning: moving the production point forward shortens every reinforcement walk from the moment the night starts, and because it flies, terrain stops mattering for those 30 seconds.
The Veil Shatters at level 6 changes the calculation. A 60 second night with 4,000 health and 102 damage a second is a genuine siege piece rather than a repositioning tool, and the 20 percent enemy vision cut that comes with it means the opponent sees it arriving later.
Faction Context
Silent Hollow is the only Endari structure, capped at one copy, and it unlocks The Veil Cracks. Losing it costs the group its production, its faction power and its heaviest body all at once, which is an unusually concentrated point of failure. In its day form it has 2,000 health and 2 armour but starts at 800 while it is being placed, so the vulnerable moment is early rather than during the night.
Because the night form both fights and produces, the group's tempo is built around the 120 second cooldown on The Veil Cracks rather than around a tech path. Faction power accrues partly from your own losses, so the night tends to be available to a player who has just been fought hard, which makes it a recovery tool as much as an aggressive one. The Endari hero, Umbra, is covered on Heroes and Commanders.
Tier and Armour Interactions
The Awoken Hollow carries Building armour with an armour value of 1 and the Flyer tag. Building is one of the six armour types in this build, alongside Light, Medium, Heavy, Hero and None, and it is the one that anti structure weapons key off. Flyer is a tag rather than an armour type, so the form is exposed to anti air targeting rules and to Building armour bonuses at the same time, which is an unusual combination.
An armour value of 1 subtracts from every incoming hit with a floor of 1, which against 2,000 health is a small proportional benefit but a meaningful one against massed small arms. Its own weapon carries no bonus and targets ground only, so an Awoken Hollow cannot defend itself against a flier at all.
Counters
Strong against | Why |
|---|---|
Static ground positions | 2,000 health at 750 move speed arriving with the production line attached, doing 51 damage a second with splash. |
Terrain based defence | It flies for the duration of the night, so cliffs and chokes stop applying. |
Attrition | It reinforces the fight it is standing in, because it never stops producing while airborne. |
Weak to | Why |
|---|---|
Dedicated anti air | A 2,000 health flyer at melee range is the largest and least evasive air target most armies will see. |
Any flier at all | Tear Asunder targets ground only, so the form cannot shoot back at one. |
Anti structure bonuses | Building armour is what those weapons are written against, and it is carried into the fight rather than left at home. |
The clock | Thirty seconds, or sixty with the level 6 talent. A night that is stalled out is a night wasted, and the power is on a 120 second cooldown. |
Balance History
Date | Change |
|---|---|
Late August 2026 | Renamed from The Deep One (Night Mode) to Awoken Hollow, at the same time as the day form was renamed from The Deep One to Silent Hollow. The August 28 patch post records updated names for the Cha'kru and the Endari without listing them individually. |
August 11, 2026 | Night form move speed increased from 700 to 750. The structure no longer lands and lifts off in order to attack. The day form cost changed from 100 hexite and 25 flux to 125 hexite and no flux. The Veil Cracks power cost reduced from 30 to 25. |
July 25, 2026 | Missing animations for the Endari transformations were added. |
Notes
The roster record for this entity is marked partial, and the missing fields are properties of what it is rather than holes in the data. It has no cost, because the price is paid once for the day form. It publishes no supply value and no status resist, which is consistent with every structure in the build. There is no build time either, and for this entity that is doubly true: mercenary units are hired rather than built, and a transformation is not constructed at all.
Older material that describes The Deep One as a current unit is describing this entity, or its day form, under retired names. The Endari faction page and the Endari talent text were both updated to the new names in the same pass, so any present tense use of The Deep One predates late August 2026.
The Awoken Hollow is one of two Endari roster entries that are not independently hired units. This one is a structure's night form; the Impaler is the hero Umbra's 20 second combat form. For how forms, tiers and armour types fit the wider system see Units.
