Wooden Talismans are a luxury contraband relic in Windrose sold to the Smuggler Buyer at the hidden Smugglers of Port Royal archipelago base. Each one is a small amulet carved in the shape of a fish, worn by Senkamati fishermen in the belief that it would swell their catch.
Buyer | Price |
|---|---|
Smuggler Buyer (hidden base) | 5 Piastres per Wooden Talisman |
Loot from high-tier Pirate Camps and dungeons in the Foothills and Cursed Swamps
Occasional drops from Ancient Ruins chests
Ship-hold loot on merchant and pirate vessels
The Ancient Ruins are the steadiest source, since the talismans are Senkamati relics left in the old temples and ruin chests. Carry a few back from any Foothills or Cursed Swamps delve, then bank them for a Smuggler run.
Wooden Talismans pay in Piastres rather than Guineas, so they are best considered volume-income rather than endgame currency. They stack efficiently, and a typical Foothills or Cursed Swamps expedition can return with 5 to 15 Wooden Talismans alongside their primary loot. Hoard them at base until a Smuggler visit is planned; do not waste inventory slots carrying them on long voyages.
The only buyer is the Smuggler at the Hidden Smuggler Base in the archipelago, reached during the Underground Network quest from the Smugglers of Port Royal line. Inside the cave, the Buyer stands beside Marita and pays Piastres for luxury goods. No vendor in Tortuga accepts contraband, so the hidden base is the one place these turn into coin.
