Overview

Trophy Great Goat is a wall-mounted hunting trophy made from the head of a defeated Goat Leader, the elite charging goat of the Foothills. Mounting it inside Bonfire range adds Comfort to your base. Unlike paintings, trophy comfort bonuses stack within the same category, so hanging several goat trophies keeps adding Comfort.

How to Obtain the Head

The key ingredient, the Head of a Mountain Goat Leader, drops at roughly a 50% chance from Goat Leader, a tough Foothills wildlife encounter with about 2,560 health and a heavy charge attack. Standard goats and nanny goats do not drop the head. Goat Leaders cluster near the Foothills Ancient Village area.

The crafting plan itself is earned by completing the goat-hunting adventure challenge, which asks the player to defeat 20 goats. Between the kill-count challenge and the 50% head drop, gathering the head is usually the slower half of the craft.

Recipe

Build time is one second once the materials are in hand. The finished trophy has 3,000 Max Health.

Placement and Comfort

• Wall-mounted only; place it on a built wall inside Bonfire range so the Comfort bonus applies.

• Comfort from trophies stacks within the same category, so multiple goat trophies each add their +1, unlike paintings.

• A steady supply of Hardwood and Nails makes the trophy cheap to repeat once you have farmed enough heads.
